I'd say both and yeah, it's too bad it doesn't exist(hence the name "perfect").

You should love your own body despite what size it is, otherwise you'll be just miserable and end up being anorexic or something...

Yes Attractiveness is totally subjective

I dont think people should go to all measures to get the perfect body. I have a fear that if everyone keeps chasing the perfect body then one day everyone will be perfect, but the same. This is kinda on the same subject as choosing the gender of your baby. As anyone else heard about that?

So, no, there's no "ideal body" especially once you count in factors like family history, genetics, living conditions, ect...

There's no tellin' WHAT will pop out.

hug-a-phobic would mean you're afraid of hugs...I think you meant hug-a-holic.

I like the little skinny, anorexic looking boys usually. the ones that are tall and thin and they have a little bit of muscle but you can't really tell but like no fat. And they eat a lot too...

But my current boyfriend at a little belly before he left that when he puffed it up, it looked like a beer gut. I actually liked it. And he's 6'5" so when he stood up, you couldn't even tell. But now he's in Marine boot camp and when he comes back his little belly will be gone (Frown) and he'll be all buff and stuff.

Idk...my body is by no means perfect but I'm happy with it...and that is a lie lol. I'm a size 1 and I struggle with eating disorders. I was a 00 for awhile but then they told me if I stayed that size I wouldn't be able to dance b/c my body would give out from lack of nutrients. Soooo now I'm a 1 and they still want me to eat and crap. However I work out all the time to keep my stomach and arms and legs toned...I think as long as you keep yourself in shape you're good. I mean some ppl are just born bigger...they can't help it and whether they eat or don't eat they won't ever be a size 1 or 2 or w/e. However if they work out and keep in shape and such they can still look good. You just have to know what parts of your body are your strong points and flaunt them. As for guys I have to admit I'm one of those girls that finds guys that work out a lot and are into sports EXTREMELY sexy. My boyfriend right now is varsity football, varsity basketball, and varsity track and when he's not doing something for one of those he's usually lifting or working out some other way. Not only do I love how he looks but I love having someone that understands that working out is really important to me and will go running with me or to work out with me. Plus I love how safe and secure I feel when he hugs me or w/e. I like knowing that if something were to happen he would be able to protect me (not only b/c of the working out but he's a foot and 2 inches taller than me...I'm 5 2 and he's 6 4) I guess there is no perfect body though...as long as you're eating right and working out or at least keeping in shape there is nothing wrong w/ the size you are...

Personally, I believe that there isn't a perfect body. The media portrays the image of small petiet (sp?) bodies for females and tottaly 'buff' and in shape figures for guys. Saying that there is a perfect body will only lead to eating disorders and physcological problems, which this world does not need more of.

I agree with worthwaitingfor.. a perfect body is a body that fits u and that u like nd feel comfortable with.. dont ever think that just because someone is smaller than u means u have to be that size!!

I love you moer than life. And i mean that.

There's no such thing as a "perfect" body. I think Lenny Bruce said once, "the truth is 'what is.' If 'what is' is the truth, then 'what should be' is just a dirty lie. If all politicians from the beggining of time are crooked, then there is no crooked." My point is the perfect body is something thats made up and used to sell products and make people feel shamed. Just be happy with what chya got. Because confidence is much more attractive than a perfect body.

The perfect body is the one that you are personally happy with. When you are happy with yourself, the way you look, and what you do (or don't do) to make it that way then others will be happy with you.

I'm overweight and still have plenty of friends because I am still a happy, confident individual. No, I am not happy with my body and am vigorously working on changing that. When I am happy with it, it will be perfect. Heck, my boyfriend already thinks it's perfect as is.

Don't strive for something you won't achieve. I know I will never reach a size zero (I have wide hips, no matter how much fat I get off of them) and I'm not trying to attain that. I just want to be thinner and more muscular and be able to wear more normal size clothes. I want to be healthy. So if you're not happy with your body and want to change it then set a goal that you think you can reach.
