Hi everybody,
I need some help. I also have a question that I need an answer to.

My Dad, is yelling in my face, telling me that I'm a worthless *****. And how stupid I am. That he doesn't believe a word I say and how I'm such a bad kid. He just yells and keeps going on and on.

Even hits me sometimes, choked me in the car, ect. And I mean, he really hits me, I get some bad bruises.

I'm getting more and more depressed from this that I actually want to die. I want to get out so badly, I would do anything. He is mad right now so I got to go. But, is this abuse? I want to report this some how but I don't want to look like an idiot. Sorry for my mistakes, in a hurry.

that is VERBAL PSYCHOLOGICAL and PHYSICAL abuse, you may just think its not that bad, but if you dont take action now your situation is going to escalate to something you have not an ounce of control over. talk to your school guidance counsler, dont ignore this I dont want you to get hurt! and it IS a VERY serious matter.if you want someone to talk to you can go to this self-help website and get the number from it i think you just google Dawson McCallister or DMLive. Please Please take control, save yourself while you still have the strength!

definantly abuse my parents used to do something a little worse than that to me & my bro.....what we did was do somthing to really piss off our parents and when they were beating us record the sounds w/ our cell phones. the next day we took our phones 2 the principal @ our school and told him everything.

Thanks everybody. This helps a lot. My Dad's getting better. I just have to deal with my horrible Aunt, it's like, she likes to critize me... I hate this. It's a mad house... sorry I'm delirious, I'm getting a bad fever I think. Anyway, thanks, this means a lot to me. First time anyone believed me.

Yes you should definitely report it. Maybe a school counselor?
Try telling your sister, but you should either way tell someone about it, despite what your sister may say or think about it. Sometimes there are things that you just have to do for your safety, despite what someone else might think.

If your sister doesn't care enough about you to want you out of a situation like this, then let her hate you. As for who to tell, any adult you feel comfortable with. Or tell a friend first and then have them go with you to tell someone else. Maybe you could even tell you sister. She might support you more than you think. Love, Jen.

Yes, this is most definitely abuse. Physical and emotional. And you need to get out...report it, tell someone, do something; trust me, I've been through it, and it was only luck that it stopped. I wish now that I had done something. Love, Jen.
