If someone who you had gotten arrested before broke a restraining order, came to your house after he got out, forced his way in and then tried to rape you..what do you think he could get charged with and how long of a sentence do you think this person can get?

In many cases it all starts out with the guy being obsessed w/ the girl or even him stalking her So if u feel like it can go that far please get some help. Because no one wants to walk around in fear.

If you think someone is following you (which they may be) turn around and make a detailed note of what they look like...if you need to report to the cops later, it'll help a lot.

I totally agree with you. I mean any kind of forced w/e like sex wise should totally be punished. Girls shouldn't have to deal with that. And neither should guys. But normally it isnt the fact of the guy(even though it isnt completly dismissable)Anyways, people that do that hurt another person.. and they should be hurt too, whether it's money wise or jail time wise. It should be dealt with.

Rape is rape, yes. And the greater cases, which are the ones that go unreported, are just as harmful to yourself as it is to the rapist. The more time you spend not telling someone, the mroe time that rapist is going not charged.

I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. self defence. i am a national winner in breaking (concrete), weapons (defensive and offensive), form (correographed movements), and sparring (fighting) in my divison.

It still happened to me. It was not TKD's fault. It was mine. I knew him and didn't put my gaurd up and get away until it was too late. But he got a shiner from me anyways.

I do suggest that you do take TKD. It is fun and it does help. When I was attacked by a guy in our school parking lot, I got away from him. I think once he was done with me he would've killed me. I strongly suggest you girls take it.

most victims of rape are women true but, we have to remember that men can also be raped. it's not just the women beeing taken advantage of. girls we gotta clean up too. and it's not just adults. remember that. children can be raped also. which is what makes it really scary. 1 those children don't really understand what's happening. 2 a 5 yr. old is not strong enough to defend himself/herself against a perverted 34 yr. old man/woman. also remember, and this is very important for the women, NEVER GO TO A SECOND LOCATION! if you are taken and your rapist does horrible things with you then tells you to come with him/her and starts to move places. do everything you can to stay! never go to a second location. also, many times when a woman is raped a "rape kit" is made. i don't know if they do the same for men so if i make it sound like i'm favoring women i'm not. rape kits are made to help find out who raped a woman and then to track him down. but many rape kits just sit there in the freezer and never get examined. to help prevent the rape situation from happening, take basic self defence classes. also for all victims remember, it's not your fault. you may feel violated and ashamed but don't. and there is something you can do. you can reach out and help people who are also a victim. share and comfort. it'll make you feel better. that's all. have a nice day and STAY SAFE!

I was raped in my own High School!

During PE this guy shoved me into the boys bathroom--this bathroom doesn't even have a door and it is in the main hallway!! No one did anything.

I was scared to tell the principal cuz when my friend went to him saying a guy showed her his **** and the put his hands and fingers in her-- the principal got mad at the girl!!!

It's kinda screwed up

I think it is the same thing because it goes against the partners will to have sex.

Rape is rape if some one dosen't want to have sex and are forsed to have sex,it dosen't matter but the chances are no one will belive you.just like date-rape

Why rape means the victim of women, why can't women rape men? It's not fair for women to be the victim all the time.

I can almost relate. A couple of months ago, I was at a carnival, and I was drug to a empty place. He asked me if I wanted to die. I was so scared. I just dont see how people can be so horrible. My friend's dad showed up and saved me, but I was soo horrified and I cant even think about the horrible things that could have happened if I was actually raped. I feel soo sorry for those girls who have been raped!

To Me: Harassment is when someone touches a private part of your body that not everyday someone's touches and that it makes you feel uncomfortable when they touch it. I don't think that was a specific meaning: I don't mean if you feel uncomfortable when someone touches your hair that that is harassment. I'm saying if they touch a part of your body that is normally cover or that you normally give permission to touch first before actually touching it then that is harassment. Was that's a good enough meaning? Or if they say things that not everyone say every day, like offensive things.

I think there is more forms of harassment but I need to check that out.

To Me: Now rape is when you have sexual intercourse or anything involving sex with someone that you were force to have sexual intercourse with or anything that involves sex with that same person.

To Me: Touching Uncomfortably is when someone hits you by mistake or bumps into you by mistake and some other solutions. No one likes that and sometimes when that happen you or that other person gets touch in a wrong way but it's no one's fault.

To Me: Now that's the difference for me.

Now about actually getting raped. What happen with the victim, what happens to the rapist.

To Me: I don't think they need jail time. They need to be somewhere and get some serious help. That's a problem that they may not be able to control. Yea, there are some people who rape people, who know what they are doing is wrong but do it any ways, those people deserve jail time. But there are some people who don't want to do it and they want and need help because they can't control it and stop themselves from doing it. Also, some may not know really it's wrong to that so they can't stop themselves

At least I think those people need help instead of going to jail and the people who actually wanted to rape little kids deserve life in jail

But you can't find out who wanted to rape kids and who didn't want to rape kids so I think it's easier for all of them to get help and be locked up somewhere away from people.

Whoever gets rape should go and talk about it to someone. They should know it's not their fault that they got raped. They need to know how valuable they really are. They need to know a lot of good positive things but I can't tell you them right now. I'm in a hurry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO! Rape is not OK! The government should indeed enforce some strict punishments on any males caught doing this or sexually assualting someone. I also have had the bad misfortune of actually seeing something of the same thing in front of me. It is a horrible thing to get rid of in your mind once you have seen me. This past Saturday one of my friends was assualted, however timidly, by her ex boyfriend. At first, I didn't realize what was happening. Later though, it hit me and I felt this consuming rage. Fortunately, I was at work, or else things would have gone very downhill for her ex-boyfriend. Afterwards, I felt very bad for her, and apologized several times for not stepping in and stopping it. She told me it was ok and not to worry. Guess what? I still do. It tears me up that I didn't do anything. Seeing anything like that happening can be very shocking and sad to the victim and anyone who happens to see. Needless to say, if the ex comes around again, I am going to take certain steps to ensure that he doesn't do that again. But, I do agree. Rape should be harshly dealt with, as well as sexual assault.
