Abortion should be illegal and if you still tried to prevent your baby from being born, then you're screwing yourself for your future!! Northstar, I have honestly thought over situations like that many of times. You have to think about the cases in order to form an honest conscience. I have tried to think about it from a "pro-choice" point of view every time, and I always come to the same conclusion: Even though at the time we (me and mate) may think that the child is going to "ruin" our lives, we have to realize that this is just Earth. This isn't going to be the end. I just can't find it ever right to kill another human to make my life better (or keep my life the same). Even if nobody ever found out that we had an abortion, I still wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing what I had done. This is a dogma of my beliefs, and I don't think that it will ever change. If you can't stand up to your hardcore beliefs, then you can't stand up for anything.

OK, what would you do, Bogey, if your gf got pregnant when she is fourteen. She might have the child adopted, but then what, shes not going to college, she's lost so much time in school, and she is now a stupid **** because she had your baby. An abortion is private and confidencial, and she still has the chance to better herself. And think, she, and the child, would have to mull over those horrible words "what if." What if she didn't have the baby, and was able to become something, or, what is the child doing. Instincts kick in the second a woman looks at her child, and parting is harder than you think. There is no perfect solution, but think about the options, and the long-term consequences.

First off, let me say that a TRUE "feminist" is not someone that fights for the right to take their children's lives. A true feminist is one who cares for her children. A true feminist is a motherly figure, who is not caught up into this Hollywood garbage that women are supposed to look gorgeous. Basically, what it means to be a "feminist" is to be mother.
