Abortion would only be murder if the fetus were completely formed, because other wise it really is nothing. Think about it, it's not yet really alive as in breathing, so how can you kill something that isn't yet really alive or has a soul?

OMG! Did you read that sentence before you submitted it? Because it sure doesn't sound like it. You just said that there is only one difference: ants can't reason. It doesn't matter! WE AREN'T ANTS! Ants don't have personalities, compassion, (and I'm pretty sure they can't "love" eachother), they can't think for themselves, its all instinct, they can't learn, they dont have FEELINGS. I mean, this whole debate is never going to end...so if you're a pregnant woman, and want an abortion, go for it. If you're a pregnant woman, and you don't think abortion is right, DON'T have an abortion. Anyone agree? At all?

Go on, read about saline abortions, or partial birth abortions. Ever heard about the nurse who USED to perform abortions and now goes to talk about people about being pro-life? Yeah, she saw the ultrasound when the doctor was "performing the procedure". She saw the "fetus" trying harder than hell to get away from the little vacuum they use to rip the child to shreds. Ignorance isn't an excuse.
Hell yeah abortion is wrong!!! Even tho the babies aren't babies yet doesn't make it right. And that fetch person who related ants to unborn babies is just stupid! You can't compare ants to people. The bottom line is I think abortion is way wrong!
the only reason you think abortion is wrong is because your culture thinks its wrong. as americans we are the most religious country in the world (as the most people per capita practicing a religon), Christianity is by FAR the most prodominate in the united states. no where else in the world will you see such a debate over such a topic./-\ll of us have the right to protest what we think is unjust. but the fact is. Abortion is here and abortions are preformed in every country in the world everyday. legal or not people will terminate their preganancies no law will ever change that. id rather have people have safe abortions than to become infected by jamming a cloathes hanger deep into their Uterus and stabbing their Fetus. ABORTION IS HOMICIDE! You are taking away the life from someone...I know what you're going to say next, it's just a fetus, not aware of it's surroundings or anything. Well, listen up, at ten weeks, the human body is formed perfectly, right down to the individual toes. You are preventing that fetus from ever having the right to live. If you think like I do, then you think God sends everyone to Earth for a reason. What if that baby you don't bring into the world was supposed to atain world peace or find the cure for cancer? There are SO many people willing to adopt babies, I can't say the same for older kids, but you can't use to point that so many kids are waiting to be adopted.
Still not convinced? Where would our world today be if Mother Teresa's, Jesus's, Bill Gates's, Ford's, Einstein's, Edison's, Ben Franklin's or Washington's mothers had gotten an abortion. I would love to hear from you! Please e-mail me with your opinions!
Err.... so? Ants are living, too, and people really don't mind stepping all over them. and even though a fetus is growing to be a baby, it still isn't. It isn't aware of what's going on yet. I'm againt killing babies, but not against abortions.

No offense, but I hate this anti-abortion argument more than any other. This makes it sound like there could ever be limitations of when and when not an abortion should be allowed and makes it sound like it could ever be enforced (ie, "you weren't raped, etc...you just didn't use protection so you can't have the abortion"), both which, in my opinion, reflect true ignorance, especially the latter. Would you be the one to ask each and every woman seeking an abortion if she was really raped, couldn't take care of the child, etc or would you say "did you just have a night of pleasure and screw yourself over?" We need a logical solution, not a "well, in this case..." answer. And unless there's some way to enforce these limitations (which there is obviously not) I think the argument ends there.
Abortions should only be allowed when: the mother that is going to have the baby is being put at great risk...you know, a situation where going through with the pregnancy could kill her and/or the baby.

I never said adoption was bad, either. I'm all for it and I want to adopt myself someday. But too many people rather pay thousands of dollors for gentic blah blah, paying different women to carry their children etc- all just so they can say, "hey, my child has my genetic code and I didn't have to adopt!", which is why there are millions of children are alive waiting to be adopted.
And come on, do you honestly believe abortion is worse than being murdered by your parents at a later age or having to go through incest ot child abuse? Because you should be aware that when people have abortions, it's because they can't take care of the baby.
Hey everyone~ Adoption is a much better choice than abortion (I think). I know lots of adopted people, and they are all happy....let's see, there's my science teacher, my best friend, the guy in my LA class, and the family of the kid in my Spanish class is adopting a girl soon. Lemme think....if all those people's moms had gotten abortions, I wouldn't have my friend or my teacher. And I hate that "it's to keep them from being born into a bad situation" excuse. So If my dad lost his job and we couldn't afford food or anything for five then he should just kill one of my sisters or me off? I don't think so. Anyways....I hafta go to school now...blah.
