Stupidity: You're wrong. Identical twins are naturally-occuring clones. It is set down in the great fount of knowledge that is my biology textbook. Which means that I am technically a clone. I'm a triplet, and we came from one fertilised egg which split into three, so we have the same genetic makeup. This is in essence all a clone is. When people talk about cloning someone, they are really talking about creating their twin. It's by artificial methods, but with the same result. So, you can trust me when I say clones are just as human as anyone else!

If you wish to define me as sub-human, please explain the reasoning behind it.

I don't think artificial cloning would be a good idea, BECAUSE people would lose sight of the clone being an individual. It's something multiple births have to deal wth a lot, and speaking personally I feel I'm often seen as merely an extension of my siblings. I have freewill and my own personality and life. I am a unique human being. Would people remember that, if we began artificially creating clones?

If clones were deliberately created, that implies that they would be created for a purpose. It's treating human beings as mere resources to be exploited. Which is wrong.

Cloning organs alone (for transplants etc), I think is more acceptable, but if someone wanted to clone a whole human, you would have to question their motives. I don't think there's anything to justify it.

What makes you more of an idiot is that you tried to twist what noiser said into something insanely out of proportion. Either you can see a difference between twins and clones or you are an idiot. Concentrate real hard then try and fathom how this can be so... it's actually not that difficult.

Natural twins are genetically the same, as are clones. I think that's a fairly valid parallel if you're going to claim that clones aren't human.

In any case... I have no problem with cloning as long as it doesn't get to the point of state sponsored eugenics, but that doesn't seem particularly likely.

Also, stupidity... petty personal insults don't tend to increase the validity of your arguments.

human cloning is bad because a clone could never be a real human. cloning a a body part like a heart would be good because it could save a life.
