Ok this whole virginity thing is taken a little to far. I mean if you think about it. You either have sex because you want to or you dont have sex because you dont want to. And it's up to them. I think that people are being hippocrits when it comes to sex. They can have as much sex as they want but when someone else does it they put them down because of it. It's so stupid. People should just get over themselves and let people be what they want to be. I mean viringity can be a big thing to one person and maybe not a big thing to someone else. Thats their opinion and people need to respect it. A lot of people need to learn what respect is in full.

I'm a virgin, and I don't take virginity as something to be taken lightly. I think it is a big deal, but those who got rid of it too quickly in life are now wishing they hadn't and just act like the innocence of it was just nothing. Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't mind, but that seems like what it is like to me!

no no, pagans dont treat sex like its just another thing to do during the day. thats a major misconception. we accept sex, but its not something we take lightly.

and just because some practice magick in the nude doesnt mean they want to have sex with each other. its a way to get closer to nature.

as a Pagan i believe sex is a huge deal, and i really wish people would stop using that overused excuse: "its natural." this i know. pregnancies are natural too, and so are debilitating/disfiguring STDs.

If you don't think it's a big deal, then why start another topic on it???? Huh, huh??? Sorry, I feel like being annoying. I think sex is a very big deal and it is mostly because of my religious beliefs but as I've said MANY times before, even if I wasn't a Christian, I would most likely wait til I'm married to have sex. I mean, I want to save something special for my husband ONLY and I want to have a husband that saved himself for me, too. Besides, there's the risk of getting pregnant and getting AIDS or STDS.

Isn't there already a big post on this? Why have seven on the same subject and not just concentrate on one? jeez.

I believe that virginity is sacred to others because of religous beliefs. They have grown up believing that being pure and untouched when they get to the matrimony part because it is what their religion says. I guess, we can't deny the fact that our society is made up of norms or certain set of guidelines from our religion and other forms of teaching. So, we can't blame people if they think losing your innocence at a young age is considered...blah! But for me, i don't care if you're a virgin or not...but i still suggest that you go have sex when you are ready..besides, early pregnancies are hard. Plus, i can truly tell you , from experience, that waiting for the right time and with the right person...you can certainly have a much deeper meaning of expressing your body language. I think sometimes that casual sex is like taking your bodies for granted. You are not giving enough value for your body that you just let some random person have their way with it. It's not that I care about how other people live their lives, i don't really. I just have more respect to women who give respect to themselves.

and since your view is like " why mind other's opinions when they don't mess with your opinions.." then why don't you just stop minding it then? Just wondering.
