I am a high school senior, a straight man, and i think i might be a transvestite. I'm not really sure how to explain it really, I've just been getting urges to put on women's clothing and makeup. I haven't told anyone, and i haven't acted on any of the urges. It's not a sexual thing though. The allure is part sensual (the sensations of wearing female garments as opposed to male garments, looking beautiful) and part escapism (being able to look and act in a completely different way then i normally do) Anyways, i apologize for the length of this post, but the point is should i follow through on these urges? and should i tell anyone?

I love waring guys clothing, and I'm a girl. I look better in guys clothing anyway, so I ware it. My best friend is a guy and he wares make up. There's nothing wrong with it, it just makes people look different.

I am female and wear a lot of male clothing. Of course it's perfectly fine and natural (after all, men were wearing tights and highheels before women were!). Clothing styles change. Maybe start by wearing girl jeans first (which is a growing style, so not too many people will overly care), more pink, etc? Just test it out, why not?
Good luck.

Of course you should act on the urges when you feel you are ready. There's nothing shameful in dressing like the opposite sex. Why suppresss natural feelings? Seriously, if you're not ready to tell anyone, wait a few years or at least wait until you're in college. Once you're away from home at college, I'm sure it'll be a lot easier if you wanted to invent a "new you" or start all over again. I know that's what I'm ready for college for, change and a chance to start anew. Good luck in whatever you decide!
