Ok....I had a teacher last year......of whom i'm sure i am in love with....i mean, im straight, i love guys and all, but this is one exception....i am in love with her....i mean, shes married and has kids and is like 35 yrs older than me....but i just.......i just ....love her. Now, i honestly think that its like a motherly thing....you know? like i love her like i love my mom, thats all it is. Its not like sexual...but i still dont know what to do about it. i mean...i love guys but i just love her too......its just really, really, really hard. help!

alright, im going to actually answer this person.
I seriously know how you feel. I think I'm bi; not homosexual, but bi...and I seriously do really like this girl that I can't have, unless I became her friend again, which will never happen (I dont think).
As annoying and hard as it sounds, you will get over your teacher, as I will get over this girl...All those annoying songs, "I can't get over you, I'll never get over you..." lol, dont listen to those songs. And, if you love your teacher in just a very motherly way, just try as hard as you can to keep a really close relationship to her. It may make it worse, but what's the harm in becoming really close to a teacher? Is that so bad? If you ask me, you have a better situation than I do...I'm not even straight, lol.

I don't know. *assumes shrink voice* So, tell me about your mother...Seriously, though, sometimes, due to either excessive closeness or estrangement from a parent, people will look for mother/father substitutes that manifest as seemingly romantic love. Maybe that could have something to do with it? Have you had any changes recently in the way you relate to your parents? Divorce, fighting, moving away from home, ect? Love, Jen.

Climbing up the "Common Sense Tree" and throwing yourself off it works good aswell. Be sure to hit every branch.

Take a fistful of common sense and punch yourself in the face.
