If a man got a sex change to be a woman is he really a woman or if a woman got a sex change to be a man is she really a man?

You can change the outside, but the inside will always be the same. It's just covering up who you truely are.

This is difficult.

You can cosmetically change everything you want, but your chromosomes will still be the same.

But, if we only consider this asa physical/mental thing, yes, they could be then the gender they have changed themselves too.

I just feel bad with anyone who has this problem, it, obviously, must suck beyond words.

I was just breaking the question for the people who don't undestand what I am tring to say.

Its not that strange of a reason. It simply is that that person is not comfortable in the body the were born in.

Yes. If they get a sex change they are really what ever gender they changed to be. It's more of a mind thing than a body thing.

I am not talking about the people that are born either sex and don't really know until they are like 16 what they should be.

I'll say yes, although in the case of the former, she's certainly not a woman I'd feel comfortable sleeping with.

It is my belief that the person who got the sex change operation would indeed be a member of the opposite sex. And to respect their gender identity you should refer to them as their prefered gender.
