I feel as though today our media is totally out of control with what they put on tv and the radio. The reason why our younger generation is growing up so fast is because of this. Many teens feel bad about themselves because of what they see and the media does not know that people do take this into consideration. I really think that the media is not that great on portraying girls and women. We seem to be like sex objects and not people. Younger girls around do not need to see how to be a hoe but to see that they can be president or any other high position. Please if you have any ideas on how we can stop this please comment. thanks for listening. Remember we need to be great leaders to the people that are coming up

the influence of media on young kids is terrible i see all the time 11 year olds who are upset with themselves because they dont look like pritney spears yet. the media doesnt have so much of an influence on me (i have parents who controlled what i saw) so i didnt get al of those negative influences at such a young age. the biggest danger is parents who let young children watch things not intended for thier eyes. the media is pretty careful in saying what age things are for and it is parents jobs to enforce that

Then the media is not the problem, it is that the individuals care. If they are stupid enough to automatically do anyhting they see on TV, they shouldnt watch at all; turn it off. Furthermore, anyone who is 'caused' to do soemthing stupid b the media truly is an imbecile if they listen to a glowing box in the corner more than common sense and knowledge.

Some people don't come from a nurturing family and have a good life. Some people don't worry about the the media cause they know its some trash. But you can't call people imbeciles just because you don't know them. Sometimes people do not need to be so narrow minded and get the center of the stage off of them because every person in the world is not you and does not react the same way as you. True people shouldn't care about the media but they do so get over it.

Heres the one magical suggestion that can save all of these mindless goons who ares chopping off limbs to lose weight, as you're trying to have me believe;
TURN IT OFF !

The reason why so many people are starving themselves and killing themselves is because of the media. Everyone is not like you who doesn't care about the media. I do think they are out of hand and we should do something to stop it so if you can please give me some suggestions.

WTF? You people are mindless imbeciles if you are influenced and directly controlled by the glowing box in the corner of the room. Too many of you are loosing sight of the concept of INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY and choosing to blame problems on media, etc. That said, the national media does mostly suck.
