So I've read two articles in the past two days, both on how girls today are dressing immodestly and showing too much skin. This does not concern just everyday clothes, either, but Halloween costumes as well. Thoughts on this? Are girls showing too much skin? Or is society too proper? What about guys? Does the same go for them, or is it a double standard?

YES! Some girls look cute, but a lot of the styles of today are too low cut and too high cut. There are ways to dress modestly and still look sexy! It's a girl's personality that really shows, it's not just how she dresses. I think girls are showing too much skin. Btw, if girls show so much skin, they don't leave much to the imagination. Guys are very visual, give them something to imagine about! Hint at things, don't show them off. Girls younger than 10 don't have much to pick from when they go in the store that doesn't reflect on a celebrity. Most celebrities have had problems with their dress and life styles. Do we really want the children of today to be modeling themselves after that? A lot of clothes are stylish and cute, even if they show so much skin, but I think that the vast majority of Americans are desensitized to how they look.

So I know how you all seem to feel about teenage girls, but what about girls younger than 10? Are clothing options for them getting too sexy?

what are you people on? style is always changing and so are the clothes we where so it may seem that clothes are getting more sexy but we dont see it that way we only see the fact that its sylish. not all teenage girls are tarts

I don't see anything wrong with it. Just because they wear an outfit they think is cute doesn't mean they're gonna be a prostitute. You can't prosecute somebody for having a bit of fashion sense. If they wanna "flaunt what they've got", let 'em.
