Here is the big question of today Why is the thing on most people here minds is sex? Now real quick look at the first page and most of these topics is about sex wheater it is for or against it. Even this is about sex so why do you think sex is such a big deal to everyone? Yes I know sex is in one of the words of this forum but there isn't much here about the other two. Be creative or factual, serious or funny let's just see how this goes...

It's my personal opinion that things were a lot worse back during the height of sexual revolution in the '60s and early '70s. You know, free love and all that. But now, the revolution is more about acceptance. Sex is becoming less taboo and more understood, especially in the case of those who don't quite fit within society's gender norms (such as the GLBT community). More exposure of sex is a byproduct of this. People aren't afraid to talk about it, so it's natural they might talk about it a bit too much, considering it's been something to stay away from in polite conversation since the Victorian era, if not longer. To sum up how I feel about it: sex is natural. Talking about it is natural. Doing it is natural. And for teens, it's kind of expected. I've never felt like I was expected to have sex, but I would think any such expectation is a result of the growing acceptance of sex as something natural, as opposed to being evil or immoral.
The more you know, the less you don't know.

Fault? You speak of it as though it were a bad thing. Without the sexual revolution, many minorities would be without recognition or inevitable rights: homosexuals and transsexuals among them. I am proud that I am involved in the strengthening revolution.

Thank you Triss for bring up society. Does everyone know basically that it is society's fault for the sex era? Even if you don't know this or feel this way do you think that maybe it could be someone else's fault for letting it get that way? Don't get me wrong I don't like cenorship but at what point is it too much?

*cough* for lots of them its not, but society has placed it apon young people to think that they should be crazily be obsessed with it. So with the added stress of being excpected to go fuck everything that walks, of course they're going to talk about it.

I have to agree with u Shade. I mean hormones are a major role in htiss. People get them and can't handle them

Because every newbie comes along thinking they're special and then proceeds to start a thread about their sex problems. And, as Shade said, it's the hormones.

Because hormones are raging through our small, frail bodies, and we don't have the wisdom or experience to control our thoughts or desires.
