Is it me or does it seem like our beloved USA hates us? we don't have to worry about marrage for now but what is our future going to be like? will we be forced to live our lives as 1/2 a person. i think we deserve to be whole people too. and we have to start with the president.

Tiny, don't type like that. Use proper english and grammar. Please, put on "t"s and "r"s to words that need them. And why write numbuh? Why not just write number? it makes you look less credible if you don't type correctly.

Christianity defining marriage is so over rated. There are whole churches that believe in gay marriage (yes christian ones). Do you know why. Because God so loved...you should know that one Mrs. Christian. I am an avid christian and firm in my homosexuality. And I have to agree with Yogore. Marriage, while seeming like a church ordained and or constituted event, is merely a title of the state. Sure you can be married in God's eyes. But when God loves everryone and is so beneficient then who and why would he not love someone. I know most of you are going to stop reading at this point but look at the problem of evil from the philosophical standpoint. If God truly is benevolent then why did he create evil in the world? Or if he truly is benevolent then he wasn't able to keep evil from being created and that makes him not all powerful. Dig it. Anyways Gay pride!

In my lifetime I have been to bed with men, women, and odd pieces of furniture....Oh and my avatar says "The only abnormality is the inability to LOVE!"

I am just now starting to turn my life over to God but there is one thing that I disagree with about the whole religion thing. No, I am not gay but I do think that everyone should have the same rights regardless of who you are, what you are going through, or even who you love. Does that make me and everyone out who think like me bad in God's eyes and will HE dissown everyone who gives people a chance? Will we go to Hell or something?

I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha

xKitty, Ikki makes a good point. It is only your opinion. Marriage is just a title so civil unions would be okay, except that civil unions don't have nearly as many rights. And marriages have become secular. you don't need a church to have one.

And you don't have to be Christian to have read the bible, so just because someone isn't Christian doesn't mean they are clueless to the Christian religions.

I believe all the bisexuals, lesbians, gays whoever! Should be allowed civil unions, but not marriage. Marriage is for a man and woman. If you're a Christian you would probably know that because it's in the bible.

People fear what they dont know....people think that a kid growing up with 2 moms is going to have problems, look around what hetero family is not split and broken, where kids are abused. now keep lookin around, are there any gay families like that. NO because diversity gives u compassion and understanding..... something our country NEEDS to learn

I am in no way infavor of Bush, but I believe by the election, he and Kerry had the exact same opinion on gay marriage and civil unions.

I'm not gay, but i don;t hate you and i TOTALLY think you should have complete marraiige rights. Nothings wrong with you guys- it's foolish and closed-minded to say you cant get married.

I'd rather have Kerry than Bush. Itleast with Kerry we'd have civil unions. I feel so sorry for all the homophobic and ignorant people of this country. So many people think homosexuality (I hate that word) is a choice when it isn't. If I had a choice, I still wouldn't be straight but I wish people knew I didn't CHOOSE to be a lesbian. I sometimes feel it isn't even worth it to fight the homophobia. I'd rather let the homophobe's heart explode in their chest on my count.

now we cant say bush is against us seeing how even if Kerry won he is still against gay marriage but he would allow gay couples that live together combined inssurance so we cant say it's all Bush
