SolemnImage, it doesn't matter how depressed you are, you don't tell someone it's a good idea to commit suicide. What if they followed that advice?
Surely life can't be completely empty. There must be one redeeming bright spot, a happy memory, something. Even a good film or a book or something to take you outside yourself. I guess the only way to get through these things is to have hope and take it one day at a time. You are still young, don't give up on life without giving it a chance. It's such a slim chance that we come to exist in the first place, so many people struggle for life, it must be worth something, worth trying for, worth staying alive to see. You can't say that things won't get better in the future. I don't know much about depression, I know I can't understand, but that's my advice for what it's worth.

I have been suicidal for a long long time. I don't really have anything else to say. I have no support, no sympathy, and no empathy. You're right. There's no way to explain the way that depression feels. You can make up all the analogies you want. No one who hasn't had it understands. I also have no advice. If I had it my way, I would probably tell you to go ahead and end your life because that is what I would do. I am sorry if this didn't help.
Yours, Solemn
