-----"""This is not only utterly grostesque and immoral, it goes against God and His word."""--- *rollseyes* what typically retarded reasoning. I really would not want to carry a baby. Even now it makes me think of the creatures from the Alien movies. Awesome movies, btw.

malepregnancy.com was a hoax. I forgot on what news channel I remember hearing that, but yeah. Full-blown crapola. And red, there are lots of things we do every day that are biologically complex and essentially go against God's word. It's just how we live now. Ah, for the days of midwives, no drugs and a rag to chew on during labor. Yes, I long for them. -.-

This is not only utterly grostesque and immoral, it goes against God and His word. Females make the offspring, not the males. It is that biologically simple.

quote: You may have mistaken men having babies for men evolving into women and all women self fertilizing (a long time from now).
That's unlikely to happen. Where is the selective force that would cause that sort of evolution to occur? quote: Isn't it true that guys are going to die out?
Uhhhh...no. Decreased fertility due to pollutants is possible, but if guys die out, humans die out. We can't reproduce by partheogenesis and probably never will be able to. quote: Women Self-fertilizing? Oh god, and I agree with Euterpe, not looking forward to child birth, pms is painful enough as is.
Self-fetilization occurs among plants. Not humans.

I'm not going to read this thread. I'm just going to say, "I don't want to think about it."

Oops, the site is malepregnancy.com. However, there is no due date and the site says Mr. Lee (guy pregnant) is going to do it in private. This makes me very skeptical as to whether or not it's a hoax... Oh wait, I just found a different site that had recorded his pregancy back in June 2002... I highly doubt, even if it is a male that was impregnated, it would take over 3 years to give birth... I guess it was a hoax after all, or maybe they haven't told anyone about whether Mr Lee died, or the baby is okay...

Oh shoot. I forgot the actual website, but there is one where a man is impregnated and you can watch, see and listen to what's going on. However, I think the baby is/was due a short time ago, if not right around now. It must have failed, but they were really close. The guy, I think, was from Japan or an Asian country of some kind.

The article doesn't say how the actual carrying of the baby will be possible, just that it would be the same as an ectopic pregnancy in women, which I suppose explains how the men would be able to carry the baby without a womb. And that article was the only thing I could find on the matter. Very odd.

quote: How is it possible for a man to have a kid, he doesn't have ovaries.
I assume they would fertilize the egg outside of the body, then implant it. I'll look at the link tomorrow.

I think it's weirder how you call yourself smart, but spelled "weird" incorrectly.

I'm not looking forward to childbirth either, and I usually WANT the men to have to go through the pain of it, but honestly. What would happen if this came to pass? Would we be all right as a society, or we would be screwed up and lead ourselves into extinction because it messed with the balance of the universe?

If sciecne gets advanced enough that men can have babies, there will probably be a way to grow them without having to give birth at all. And if we will be able to do that, why would guys want to go through childbirth?
