Thanks so glad everyone has his or her own view, actaully one day you guys would see some spark of revolution when things level... there are much to be said... for a example here in Nigeria ( do anyone of you know an Oil Firm Called Mobil)? Yeah the are the major oil film that sales fuels and gas around the world.. do you know what they are doing to us? And some times it pains me when the western world the know the truth..but for the fact that the company is a western company and in african soil digging resources.. they close their eyes and looked away from it andf bribe their ways through the pockets of our president and senators.. giving their children education overseas and come to look at it...... who suffers? is it not the common man and tomorrow u will see all these NGO? Governmental Organization pasting online and on newpapers make povery an History in Africa? when they know actaully what the cause of poverty was? but they come around fooling us and still going back to tell you (their sons and daughters) that africa is a poor continent.. no road.. no house.. no food.. I wonder when would they stop these white lies on us.?

Lets forget Katrina issues... thats past...

Maybe if you retyped this so that people could understand it without reading it 10 times they would be more understanding.

Let us never forget Katrina issues...they may someday be past but it could always happen again...

EG-lol

I have been to Africa, people are starving to death in Mauritania, Dying of gunfire in Somolia, dying of aids in the DRC(and everywhere else), And the people who aren't are being fed by catholic charities, being given asylum by the U.S. and Canada, and being given medical attention by doctors without borders, are being fed by UNICEF and hundreds of other wstern missions. Am I going to defend corporations that violate peoples human rights through a system of corruption; Hell no. But corruption starts at home.
Maybe you haven't yet grasped the English coloquialism. To "make poverty history" means to end poverty. It means that poverty will not exsist anymore because we will stop it. I want to "make katrina history", that would mean that we would end the situation by making it better.
Kofi Annan, white lies? Shut the hell up.
