Most of everyone knows what onstar is. You get in a car wreck and you call onstar. Immediately they call 911 and get an abulance to your rescue. You lock your keys in your car? No problem. Call Onstar and they will open your car door for you.
Wanna know what else onstar does?
They have recently been charged for eavesdropping on peoples conversations.
If you think about it.... Its kind of scary.
I mean. Someone that has complete access to your car, and your buissness and conversations.
What do you guys think?

My stance with all types of privacy infringements is this: If someone I don't know wants to sit there and listen to all of my fascinating phone or car conversations, let them. It's not like I'm trying to hide anything and it's not like if I'm sitting there talking about how much I hate a certain person that person will ever find out. Who cares (except terrorists)?

Even as a possibility, I've heard about it, I think... This has moreso turned into a cranking-possibilities thread..

If I had that job and was in need of entertainment, I'd probably whisper to them so they would assume it was God, their conscience, or something. Like "Kate, settle down, it's only traffic. What you don't know is what the driver of the honking car is holding...get onto the 5 freeway RIGHT AWAY!"

Me too... boredom would get to me so I'd start playing pranks on random cars... Like "Miranda... this is Jerry... I'm stuck up here... could you help me?"

yeah it is pretty crazy, but i would probably do it to if i got bored enough from sitting there all day waiting for people to call and be like "help me!" it is scary though...privacy...not anymore..to an extent especially since the patriot act..but now im getting off topic.

Rachel McAdams is a goddess. My mom just doesn't support homosexuality.

Lol, because why? Being straight-avoidant does not = getting bad grades or something. I think guys should use Brokeback Mountain as a way to come out. "Mom, I liked Brokeback Mountain." "That's great, dear." "No, I mean I *really* liked it." "Oh." And Rachel McAdams could make many women very gay. She's got a ways to go until she's at Angelina status.
