Yes the labels do matter, because when i buy tools and they are made in Taiwan I know they will bend, China they will snap in half. And USA if they break I can get a full refund. Germany they'll never break and they cost a lot in the first place.

Off topic, but there is a city in japan called "usa". After there ww2 recovery some products from japan had "made in usa" tags on them.

I would still buy the clothes. Think about it. the 5 cents they get a day is still better than nothing. I was watching something on t.v and they were talking to kids who worked in sweatshops and they were happy that they could take food home to their family. they said it was just like a job.

I cannot speak for you all, but I only purchase products from communist-run sweat shops. Your traditional equal opportunity employers.

I would stop buying the clothes immediately and tell others about the sweatshop thing too. However the problem is that most of us don't know what clothes are made in sweatshops.

they can't have a better economy if we don't even give them enough money to live on. economies are only good when people are spending alot, and they have nothing to spend!

I'm totally discusted by the sweatshop system, but you have to give those other countries time. Once the asian and africans create unions and have better economies, then the companies will be forced to pay more. It is totally unethical, the sweatshops, but "god helps those who help themselves." They will come around sooner or later.
