People like to say that if they didn't buy sweatshop clothes that the people would be worse off... does that make it right though? I think that's the question that needs to be asked. My fiance' and I were talking about this the other night. He was telling me to stop buying Victoria's Secret stuff because their stuff is made in sweat shops. I told him, "No matter how much we try to stop it we're still going to be wearing something that's made in a sweatshop. You're underwear that you're wearing were probably made by some little 10 year old!" The only way to stop sweatshops is by buying natural U.S and Canadian made products. Hemp for example. Great product to buy, but it's exspensive! People would rather buy something affordable.

It just seems that there has to be a better way, but what is it?

Bauhaus makes a good point for once. If we don't buy from them, they get an even lower income.

If I didnt buy the products those people would be out of jobs. How would they live?

i wouldnt and dont pay pay big money for things like nike and such that are made that way if they were cheeper then maybe but not just because it has a brand name i dont!
