YesHere in NC, Wal-Mart is a given. All the cool kids probably got half their clothes at Wal-Mart and the other half at the mall. And all the non cool kids were too cool to buy anything at the mall so everything is from Wal-Mart. As for CostCo...it's not a big hit with me. I mean, it's alright, but Wal-Mart makes me go nuts. I could spend like thousands of dollars in there, probably, if given the chance...and get more for my money that people who spend thousands of dollars every day probably do.

That's the way life goes! Eat or be eaten! There will always be competition even when there's not a wal-mart around.

Admirable. If I were wealthy, I'd hope this would be the attitude I would take. As it is, I am not, and I'm sorry to say that I really don't care about whatever is "wrong" with Wal-Mart. I still like shopping there and I think the cheap prices on needed items are really good for low to middle class families. Also, many foster parents shop there to care for the children under their care. It helps them and the foster children - they get things they've never had before and the foster parents don't have to completely break the bank.

I love Walmart. Costco too.

So, construction begins, big business conservitives come invade the schools, traffic that was never there before is suddenly too much for the roads to handle and pot holes and road widening occurs, and hotels start popping up on every corner. What was once a nice rual area is now somehow a heap of red dirt, nails and bulldozers. It's sad. And there is still not a single thing to do in this town except shop and go to the movies.
That's my problem with walmart.
If it weren't for Wal Mart, Bentonville would be an even crappier little hick town with nothing to do, that means not even movies. I'm glad that this area doesn't suck, and thats tanks to Wal Mart. Even though they sell crap. And are dumb. Great Value can chew my ***.
Well, actually, Tyson and J.B. Hunt are in NWAR too. So even without walmart, we'd be pretty well off.

I don't think marine should be expected to work @ 21...I mean people should do what they want as long as know what their goals are. Personally, I am only 15 and im working now and during the summer. I really need some cash but during the school year I plan on volunteering so the summer=cash

You morons must be new. I have never had a job in my life, because my parents insist that I don't work. I am home for summer break and getting ready for my final year of college before I am off to Europe for a year and after that I will be speinding a half of a year in Tokyo with my uncle.
