Myspace isn't just a teen thing. It's a dating site, used mostly by teens. Ever wonder why you can put "dating" and "serious relationship" as a reason for being on Myspace? Myspace has as much chance of going under as does Match.com.
The more you know, the less you don't know.

That's not a reason. Lots of things grow fast that deserve to grow fast. quote: I believe this is just a flash in the pan
google has a usage that will never be unnecessary, so google wil always be up (and the ads on the site will always be there).
Stock price and business will not always be aligned. If I said I'd give you a dollar this year and double it every year afterward, most would agree, that is terrific growth. But would you pay one trillion for it? Not likely. Value is far more important than growth.

you better be a very savy investor, because this myspace/blog crap is just a fad. these stocks will be soaring for a little while, but they will come down hard, and stay down. you better know when to sell if you invest in this this thing grew very very fast, so it is logical that it will burn out very fast. I believe this is just a flash in the pan google has a usage that will never be unnecessary, so google wil always be up (and the ads on the site will always be there). I predict myspace will fall out of favor because of its lack of practical usage tot he average citizen. it may be a teen thing, but teens are stupid and fickle. I wouldnt invest in this unless I were very very savy

Yes but they didn't just go on the stock market...And intermix does more than just own myspace...And you shouldn't just buy it because myspace is successful. That is a recipe for disaster.

You are quite welcome. And as for the information, it was inevitable, eventually MySpace had to go corporate, it was being way too successful.

It doesn't say anything about that in your article. It says that intermix is being bought by news corp. That isn't equivalent to an IPO.
