I would like pink combat boots immensely. Any suggestions?

Well it wouldn't make a difference if they were blackspot are not because they don't fit my taste in shoes. I would rather pay my original price of 79.99 and get something that i'm going to wear instead of those. Converse sneakers look better then those

I really could care less about this (sorry, but I have other world probelms to argue about) but like panterayall, I keep remembering the "give blood" commercial. You think its a "stop the sweat shops" ad, but it ends up being a blood one. Its an awesome commerical because it shows that you will never be able to stop certain things - like sweat shops. That some work just has to be done and we have other probelms. If yall havent seen it and want me to try and explain it just ask.

talking about sweatshops makes me remember that funny *** commercial in grand theft auto about little johnny in a sweatshop somewhere in asia.

"so johnny how do you like your job?

it was great yesterday i got to play with knives!

oh that sounds like you are really building some skills for your future! How much money did you make yesterday?

yesterday i worked all day and i made a DOLLAR!"

oh god everytime i hear that commercial i start cracking up. But anyway why would i buy shoes that look like someone just picked up some old tires out of a junkyard and sowed them together?

I'm not saying it's good, I'm saying it's better than nothing. At least they have some wages. If forced, however, I find it wrong, but if a person agrees to go in one, then...

I know little of the enviroment, so I'll give you that one.

So I went to blackspots website. Those shoes looked like someone a homeless person would wear. So penmagic, if you think they will blow nike out of the market you better think again. besides, Berkienstock has allready corned the hippie market - so I guess blackspot is a day late and a dollar short.

Is that not better than no job at all?

Blackspot sneakers are awesome. Great quality too.

You are sooooo wrong on the environment thing. "random exploding atomic bombs" along with tons of other polluting factors are destroying the world. It doesn't happen overnight though Celtic.

The environment does NOT fix itself. LIES.

Sweatshops are horrible. They don't provide "poor people with jobs" they force them to work at a work at almost no wage, in dangerous conditions, for long hours, with no hope of ever escaping from that socioeconomics status. They allow children to work in the same conditions.

Right on Penmagic.

I hate to agree with a bunch of elitist republicans, but...

How can sweatshops be THAT bad? You're providing jobs for poor people, at least. You can't possibly expect them to have a job with health insurance that pays 10k a year (being a lot for a sweatshop worker). 5 bucks for these people is a lot.

I don't care what shoe I buy as long as it's comfortable and looks decently enough.
