I am not entirely sure as to my religion, but I consider myself an atheist at the moment. I have never really looked to a higher power for guidance, but I think that the idea of faith itself is an interesting one. I think that strong belief in anything, whether or not that belief is justified, is extremely powerful.
Really, I think if there is a God, He is not likely to care how exactly you go about appreciating or acknowledging his presence. For example, I don't see why it matters whether you go by the teachings of the Bible, Koran, or something else entirely. For that reason, I truly don't understand why people so zealosly condemn religions other than their own, and why so many people have died thoughout history over minute differences between religions.

Faith means you don't know. You just believe. And, for me that is enough.

I can't help but believe in a higher power. Not for comfort but just because I have faith. So many things wouldn't be explained without it. Science may be able to conjure uo some sort of theory, but who gave man the first brain to even fathom the thought of science. That higher power began us on our journey and science is continuously helping us to progess. I respect the word of the Bible even if I don't consistently abide by it. However, I respect those who who chose other paths, because when it's all over I believe God...no lets give him a name...Jehavah will have the final decision. So, I say believe what you want to believe, enjoy the life you have the way you would like to.

You don't have to know. As long as you believe in whatever you believe in, anything could be possible. Sure you don't know for sure, but you just don't have to, you just have to believe.

Sorry, this should be in religion. I clicked on the wrong one. It is somewhat philosophical, though.
