Start the book with " Jerry was a man with big thoughts and big ideas. Sadly the weight of them crushed his bones. His funeral was sad and people cried and then everyone forgot about him."

I would love to help. But I need to get more information. What kind of book is it? What is the goal of your story? Will it convey a message? Will it be poetic, philosophical, narrative, etc...?

What kind of short story?
Who is the protagonist?
What do they do?
Why?
Who against?
