There is one quote that's gotten me through these past few weeks, "Take my flesh, I give you my soul" It sums up my life perfectly. All my life I've been giving people parts of my soul. But in return, they give me nothing. And that's the way it's always going to be, I realize. You can give and give, voluntarily, and involuntarily. But either way, you'll get nothing in return. Now my question is, is this true, or am I just insane?

It's true that there will always be people who will screw you over by taking and offering nothing in return, but not everyone is like that. It just takes a little while before you recognize the people who will give you what you need and ask nothing in return.
