I live by that "risk" quote I posted before.

Wow, that's an awesome idea about the quotes book! I've always had this special diary type thing in my drawer and I've always been saving it until I have something equally special to write in it. I think I'll use it as my quotes book! yay. A few of my fave quotes: "Gravity cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." --Albert Einstein "Map out your future, but do it in pencil." -- Jon Bon Jovi

"To laugh is to risk being a fool. To weep is to risk appearing sentimental. To reach out to another is to risk involvement. To express feelings is to risk exposing your true self. To place your ideas, your dreams, before the crowd is to risk their loss. To love is to risk not being loved in return. To live is to risk dying. To hope is to risk despair. To try is to risk failure. The person who risks nothing and does nothing, has nothing and is nothing. They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love or live. Risks must be taken because; the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. Only a person who risks is free."
"Take risks and never regret them."

"Consider the postage stamp: it's usefulness consists of its ability to stick to one thing until it gets there!" - Josh Billings That's our team motto. Sad, I know, but sometimes I just tell the kids it and they almost contemplate it. Almost.

"A witty saying proves nothing." - Voltaire
Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the roar of its many waters. Frederick Douglass
