I would die to protect all living things, if I can help at least something in my life, then my life was lived. I would die for my family, I would die for my friends, I would die for my pets. And if I were dying, I'd do it with a smile, knowing the person I did it for was safe.

I'm not sure I understand, but I would not die if anyone from this world would. If they were my kin, that is another story. I would do anything I could to prevent family from dying, even losing my life, even losing my life permenantally (as in no "after-life"). Ya.

first, i do everything i always wanted to, ie dance naked in a church, set fire to pottery barn, **** on my old conservative catholic school. after a 3 hour carchase on the freeway i suddenly decide to die so that a random person lives. i do everything i always wanted to and i die a noble, heroic death. the end.

just yday when i was driving i almost knocked an old man and for the first time reliased that i wud have killed myself from teh guilt of anything happening to the poor old man...

I would die in a second for my family and friends. Even a random person I would die for, knowing that my death allowed them to live.

I would die for my loved ones ... My g/f's and my b/f's my friends, and my family . I would in a heartbeat...

hmm tough question, I've got about 11 people I would die for pathetic.

that all depends...am I going to have a slow painful death, or a quick painless death that I am not even expecting?? If I was going to suffer I'd rather it not be me...sounds selfish but I'm a whimp...i guess my limit would be like 3...maybe 2...death is an issue w/ me, i don't think anybody deserves to die unless they took someone else's life first.

I think it just depends. If the person had a family, then I would certainly try to save their life in order to give up my own. No person who has a family deserves to die under indirect circumstances. If a person is a murderer, then let them die in hell. If the murderer has a reasonable or logical explaination to why they had a specific hate towards a specific person, then perhaps my answer would be different. It just depends on life.

I wouldn't die for anyone...I think. Maybe if I was faced with dying or having an entire people, like all Chinese, die, I would be so overcome with guilt I might choose to save them...but I'm preeeetty sure I would save myself. Even if everyone else thought it was selfish, I wouldn't care. When you look at it objectively, everything is in your own perception. If I die, will others still exist? How can I possibly be assured of that? Does existence matter if I will not be there to perceive it? Yet if I choose to live, even though some people (people who can be replaced by any from the billions of faceless others) will die, existence and everyone else will still be there. This is just what "feels" right to me...anyone else kinda feel that way?

i think i would die to save jut about anybody ...but since its random i woulds
have to assume its someone that deserves to live and if i thought i couldsace 1 or more people by dieing i would.

i think the higher the number, the more i'd be willing to die for. i just feel like if my death saved 100 other people, it would be worth it.

Fair enough. Seems like most people here would either die for one other person or refuse to decide.

i wouldn't make a limit and I couldn't be able to live with some one's death on my concious. I would die for another person because who am i to say that my life is more important than another? That's where I stand no matter what the situation.
