I know there are very knowledgeable and wise people here. Perhaps they can share with me their system of belief forming. What I am asking is how you believe what you do believe now to be true, and what mechanisms you used to form those beliefs? Or more simply, "What do you use to know anything you believe to be true?"

To be candid, I can't say I know what I believe in just yet. All I know is that I exist and I'm doing my best to survive in the world we live in today. Times have changed and will continue changing, some say religion is old-fashioned. True? Who knows, it's still working to guide the masses of people today. What i base my life on is simply logic. Currently I am agnostic, and maybe in the future I will find a religion to my benefit. As for now, I can say I'm doing fine getting through my teenage years drug-free as well as god-free.

thats a very good question. I wonder that all the time. Most people's beliefs are just from what they've experieneced and their feelings toward those experiences. I know its related to ur brain snd its reactions to things, but honestly, science is not my strongest area and I'd probab;y make a fool of myself trying to put what i mean into words. haha maybe someone else knows how to say it so its more understandable
