I hated Little Women. It was insanely tedious and the plot had no spine.

There's many books, in which could make me sleep. Actually, most of the books that are assigned in school can make me sleep very well...and I enjoy english. Romeo and Juliet The Crucible Farenheit 451
The list can go on, if only I could remember the books that were assigned to me in class. Although, I don't remember the books too much that bored me to death. Peace, Yuka

I thought of one more and you all are going to hate me, probably, but... The Diary of Anne Frank In my opinion, a diary is only interesting to either the person writing it or people who are close to the person writing it. I know it's supposed to teach of the Holocaust and such but by the time I was forced to read it, I already knew plenty about the Holocaust and had already read a much better book---I Have Lived A Thousand Years. I found The Diary of Anne Frank to be one of the most boring and tedious books of literature I have ever read. I feel sorry for her and all others who perished during the Holocaust but I can't help but not like this book.

Well...no, I love long books. Let me explain: I had to read it for English (Point one against it---forced to read), it was in marching season (Point two against it---I didn't have a lot of spare reading time), and I found it completely and totally unbelieveable. This guy had live four different names and all the same people kept "coincidentally" meeting up---complete bull****. I like my books to be either completely fantastical or completely (or close to completely) believable. I don't want some story posing as believable when really it would never happen that way. I know it encourages the huge theme of fate...but even fate doesn't work like that!

Dune (shudder). It's a good story and all, but it's too god damned confusing!

Another one I hated was the Alquemist by Paulo Coelho. It's got good teachings, yes, but his writing style is boring and childish.

Nevermind. Now that a stupid newb with a pink picture says they like Hatchet, I change my mind. I hate it.

I usually like every book I read but MoonDance by S.P. Somtow has got to be the most crap-tastical book I have ever read. I read about 300 pages out of 450 but I just couldn't finish it. Stupid plot, too many characters to keep track of and too much unnecessary sex. I seriously want my six dollars back.

i liked hatchet. I didn't like the Left Hand of Darkness, don't recall the authors name either. I really thought I would too because I like classic books with a lot of thought and I love sci fi but you rarely see those merged. Her book just didn't do anything for me though. Oh and if another relative gives me a "Know Why You Believe" or "Chicken Soup" book, I'm going to shoot nails at their eyes.

green Just got finished rading that... I agree. I dislike almost all mysteries, the solvers of them are so full of themselves, mostly The Gypsy Game was not very good either. I had to read it for school.

Books I don't like...right. As if. I'll read just about anything. But there were a few that I didn't like as much... the Babysitter's Club The Valentine Star huh, don't remember the authors....oh well. And corny animal stories or ones with loads of references to god in them...can't remember any titles.

Farenheit 451 was the best asigned book I have ever read. If you understand where it's comming from and if you abhore censorship, like me, then you'd like it.

But did you even understand what Fahrenheit 451 was about? It's a good book if you can suffer through the lack of things blowing up.

I loved those when I was in elementary school. The Giver was okay. I mean, I got half-way through, but then the fourth Artemis Fowl book came out, and I haven't finished reading it. Very boring book: The Amulet of Samarkand
