Are you a person that can't make up their mind? So am I. I found these cool ways you can test yourself to see if deciding something could be a good consequence. I mean, your actions describe your character, so it's important to fix up decision making.
TEST #1
Publicity Test Would you want what you do to be made public on the news or radio? The newspaper? Imagine your firends go dragracing...Would you want your name mentioned so that everyone who knows you makes you feel embarrassed or guilty?
TEST #2
Golden Rule Do to others what you would want them to do to you. Obviously, if you decide to rob that freshman of his money, would you want to turn around and see him digging through your stuff? If you kick around your dog do you want it to suddenly maul you from under the table?
TEST# 3
Parenting Test Would you want what you do to be seen by your parents? I dont think so. Especially the dragracing thing and doing drugs. You wouldnt want that.
TEST# 4
Archytype Test Imagine someone like Ghandi or Martin Luther King Jr., who fought for a good cause peacefully. Would they do what you plan to do? What would they think in your situation.
These tests are pretty interesting to actually do, but my problem is to remember to use them. Obviously I'm not going to wonder what Ghandi would decide...Old School or Saw at Blockbuster, but you know what I mean.
It is essential that justice be done, and it is equally vital that justice not be confused with revenge, for the two are wholly different. OSCAR ARIA
