Since ever-one else was posting poetry, I though I'd post a recent one of mine. Tell me what you think. Is Home--Is HomeHome-- Lands afar, Where music stirrs the heart, And smiles, Joys Laughter-- Are a merry start It's where the bed Be warm at night, And bright be all the stars, And white branches In the wind, Snow melding with the bark-- But e'er green Is home, is home, Where the flutes sing merry song, Welcoming the traveler Who's been absent for so long

If it means something to you..and has meaning to your life...(or others.) then it's everything a poem could/can ever be. -Katz

The idea is good. Work on the wording and fluency.

Maybe we do go to a place like that when we die, unless of course we go to hell.

I love the imagery... I'd like to think that people go to a place like that when they die.

Well thanks. I thought for a moment you were Jamaica, and wondered why she of all people would be giving me a compliment.

Was it a newer or an older song? Meh, I know, I love Enya.

Don't remember. It's one of em, though. One of the ones with no words.. I can't write with people talking or singing.

I wrote it while listening to an Enya song. Her music is really neat.

DWM, you do a really good job. Very good spatial order and the descriptions are cool.
