She takes off her hat'
less than there was the day before.
One more treatment,
Dear Lord don't let it stay around for more.

A ravishing red headed beauty,
contrasted fire with thy skin fair.
Now thinned and hardly visable,
hat's so others don't stare.

A wig,
some dye,
to mask her soul's pain.
a pill for her body's,
like the soul it is in vain.

The red and yellow leaves of October,
fall and and blow away.
The once vibrant tree left hoping,
they will return another day.

Next topic- Happiness.

Since there's no new topic posted, I'll write about how I feel now...

Homework Reminiscence

Books lain all askew
Just another darn day of endless tasks
And still I'd rather be with you

Why must I procrastinate homework?
But it's too late now; I've had my fun
Now it's time for me to ignore this restless that lurks

And immerse myself in the horrid land of pens
Supplies that allow this madness of stress
So I'll continue to see this day through an aggravated prudish lens

Next topic: autumn (or whatever, I can't think of anything interesting...I'm too stressed to be creative! Razz)

Sitting There

I'm sitting here, but I want to be there.
I want to be way over there
The more i see it, the more i want
i want to be over there, because
He's sitting there.

The reports on the T.V. screen, I hear the phone begin to ring
My mother on the other end, my broken heart she cannot mend
"Hello?" I say, and start to pray, "Oh Lord, please help him to be okay"
"He's fine." she says, I breathe again
The world for me it will not end
But, for all those people who's hearts are torn, I wish there was some way they could've been warned
The way they died, with them all inside
I pray for peace for their loved ones lives
The terror lives on as it sings it's sad song
While we wait, it won't be long

I couldn't think of a better ending, if someone has one go ahead and say it.

there's many kind of people
we shouldn't judge although we do too well
by their intelligent in what they do
or on their tests scores
that some may be intelligent
and some may be called stupid
It isn't that we are literally stupid
but some people just may act ignorant and stupid

Green is mean
Green is unseen
But one day there'll be
somebody who thinks that things are to be
The same with red, as with the way I think about green.

I'm a novelist okay? I did my best.

Melting into Orange

The summer sky, melting into orange.
My eyes they tear, for a sweet condolance.
For my ears they hear of words, sweet honey, from your lips.
My heart it drops, it plunges to my stomach.
Where it churns and butterflies eat to their delight.
Upon my skin a rash of pulses, my tongue a blanket for my pain.
My eyes they tear, melting into orange, my sweet summer sky.

Yes, all improv...Holy crap...I forgot that we go by topic. I'm sorry you guys; unless you guys consider it to be on topic.

Cannons sound throughout the night
deliberations on what should be right
ask Washington and Lincoln, they'll know not
why people continue to be so distraught
it's not but a simple matter of freedom, is all
yet there are some who cannot think
and they put up their oblivious wall
leaving logic in disbelief to blink
Why is the choice gone? what freedom you say?
those stupid people only wish to take it away.

alright

Grabbing the cheese out of the fridge
thinking how that would be good
slicing it up to be very slim
making sure that the little ones won't be so grim
being able to see her face
getting all covered up with lots of cheese

alright, so that wasn't my best, but thoutht of giving it a try.

The moon is above me
I can barely see it for the city
Its light is drowned out by the neon
It's a good thing I laid off the Freon
Some day I wish the moon would come to me
Without me taking all this LSD

Heh, I have too much fun with rhymes.

ok

Lightening stuck in the sky
she knew it would be soon time for her to die
she bent down and kissed the earth good bye
stood up rigid ready to change the lie
she could feel the electricity thruming through the ground
she knew it would not be long until she was found
She raised her hand
as the lightening touched land
it stopped
thrashed around to her
it struck and as she fell she thought
"yes... I have done well..."
idk

Her heart was sad
Her heart was mad
He left her without a regret
He didn't care that she would fret
She took the knife
She knew it would end her life
She ended that session of a sad sad depression

Love is obviously a painful thing.
Something meant to be misunderstood,
something meant to make you good.
Something lost on someone like me.
Something I will never see.

It sucks.

Life

Wake up in the morning
knowing it's a fresh new day
trying to decide in what you are going to do
or automatically remember what you need to do
Going out to help other people who are less fortunate,
knowing that everyone's life is a different from yours

Smiling at those who truly loves and support you
or being upset at those who don't understand
Everyone has a different oppinion in life,
which makes it so great, or so depressed.

The next topic is despair

I know my other poem really did bite but it was sort of fun doing it, so I'm making another bad poem.

I believe in you despite what I hear
I don't listen when people say, "stay clear"
I have hope that you will be the good person that no one can see.
I will wait until the time you want to show your true nature and be free.
I'll give you as many chances as i could give
I will try as long as I live
I have hope in you even when all odds point to nowhere
You can cast pain upon me and I will still be here.

Because I believe in you despite what I hear.

You disappointed me beyond belief
You made me look like the fool that I didn't want to be
You left me bleeding and hurting with no degree of dignity
You didn't even want to help me, no sympathy.
You did this twice, third time is the charm
I gave you the opportunity everytime, your behavior did not cause me to alarm.
This time was different, I got upset
I told you how I felt and you just got up and left
You couldn' handle the criticism, you couldn't take the burden of guilt
You just didn't want to deal with the pain that i felt

Remember one thing when you feel me near
I take back saying,"I believe in you despite what I hear"

Anyways that is my bad poem. It was optimistic at first than it turned ugly, lol. Smile

What can be said for music?
Noise? Sound? Vibrations?
Music is the international language,
going hand in hand with kindness.
For music knows no border, no leader, no authority
Music cannot bow to political pressure
Music cannot heil to a leader
Music, is completely peaceful.
For in music, you can find yourself,
You may express yourself, and you can find peace within yourself.
Music, the food I eat, the language I speak, the air I breathe.

Hope? Where is the hope.
Somewhere lost in space, I suppose.
Or somewhere else, who really knows?
There's either too much or too little of this.
Sometimes the lack of it gets me really p*ssed.

Heh. I suck at this.
