What is your philosophy in your life? Do you follow someone elses philosophy? Did you make up your own? Or is it all just a mixture of beliefs? What is your code of ethics?

Mine is to treat others as I would like to be treated.
Try to be at peace with the people around me.
The Bible.
To explore and examine everything in life.
To try and help people when ever possible.
....etc. I'll go on later.

I used to have a hard time in life, and still kinda do in some ways. Though some of my phiosophy is this:

Life may be hard, but I'm tougher

Life is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.

That is my philosophy on life summed up into two sentences.

This is an interesting question. I don't think I have a personal philosophy to solve all of my problems. I would like to think that maybe mine would be:

Trace yourself back.

It works for a lot of situations. If you lose something, trace back to where you started. In a fight with a friend? Trace back to the start and figure out what the problem was. Solve from there. You can see how this helps in lots of occasions.

I used to have pretty bad depression. I got out of it with my own little mantra. Whenever I get discouraged, I just say "Just remember why." Then I think about the reasons I'm doing whatever I'm doing and feeling whatever I'm feeling. When I see my goals all laid out, it makes it a lot easier to cope with the tough stuff. And if/when I find I don't know why I'm doing something, I stop.

My Philosophy right now is :

With God, nothing is empty of meaning, nothing without symbolism by St. Ireneaus.

I don't have a philosophy. I take life as it comes and make choices from there. I don't think it is realistic to have one set philosophy for dealing with all of lifes problems. Each situation you face is unique and different, and you, therefore, must deal with it in a different way.

The best way to live life is to do what you feel is best. Not what you always feel is best for yourself, although you should consider those, but also what is best for the people you care about. Do the best that you can do for them.
