In this game, we answer semi-philosphical "Would you do ____ if you had the chance?" questions, normally with some catch involved. You can also do comparison-style questions if you want ("Would you rather ____, or ___?").
Answer the last person's and then make one of your own. They can be as detailed or simple as you want.

The whole Philosophy section seems a little weak here, filled with random poems and only a few actual discussions. Maybe we can spice it up a bit with one of those never-ending games you see in other sections. If nobody else plays it, I'll answer all the questions myself!

First question: Would you live forever?

if u were given a chance to choose to live and be a vegetable casue u ahve to witness something really imp wud u rather die or still be alive ?
I would want to live because if I was really meant to die and if God wanted me that bad to come to heaven he would have taken me and embraced me right then instead of leaving me there to suffer and live out my life as a vegetable.

Next Question: If you were in love with someone and it was not the right timing for you or the other person for some reason, would you settle for less to see them happy with someone else because if they're happy than you're happy or would it be an all or nothing situation?

Yes, I probably would take the opportunity, no matter what happens (Unless I die, but that's besides the point), to live life in someone else's shoes.

If given the opportunity of sex without any consequences, would you take it?

Would you rather be a girl or a boy in general? In dating? In school? In parenting?
I'd rather be a guy than a girl in general because it just seems so much easier to be a guy. There aren't as many stereotypes about being a guy than there seem to be with girls. In dating, I would probably want to be a girl because when a girl loves someone (or at least this is for me) she puts her whole heart and soul into loving them and it's such a beautiful thing. Again, in school I would most definitly want to be a guy. There's alot that I want to do in school but can't just becuase I'm a girl. I think that if I were a guy in school than the gender I was wouldn't hinder me in doing those things like it does now because I am a girl. I don't know about the parenting one. I mean, whichever gender would work for me I guess. I can't just go off and change who I am as a person-gender and all-in one night. I don't know, I guess I am who I am and it's not meant to be changed.

Next Question: If you had the chance to see what it was like on the other side of the fence as someone else, they could be a celebrity or your everyday jane, would you take that chance to find out if the grass is really greener on the other side? If so, and you found out that it's not as exactly as you pictured it would be would you do it all over again just to walk in someone else's shoes not matter what the experience good or bad?

I'd really go at it and change everything without looking back. The world is messed up, so I'd be busy all day making it into some kind of eternal utopia (except this utopia would really work). Changing just one thing would feel like a big waste, and I'd know people were still suffering from problems I could have solved.

You're going to go blind no matter what, plus you have to lose either your ability to speak, or your dominant hand. Which other thing would you chose to lose?
I would chose to lose my dominant hand. It's already bad enough that I have to lose my vision and would not be able to see all the beautiful things in the world or even the faces of the ones that I love or care about but to not be able to communicate would be worse. I would lose my dominant hand because I have another hand so I could probably work that situation out or work around it with no difficulty.

Looks like we've got two unanswered questions again because of posts within minutes of each other. Oh well, I'll just answer both to clear things up.

1. "if u were a very poor perosn and u fell in love with this guy who is equally poor and loves u like no other and a very rich guy falls in love with u ...whom would do marry? wud u marry for money or love?"

I'll have to go with the standard answer of marrying for love. I doubt anyone here is that focused on money, or if they are, they won't admit it. Please try to create greater dilemmas than money vs. love, because there the answers are pretty predictable.

2. "If you knew you had the power to decide someone's future/eternity would you hang your very worst enemy's life in balance with a disease or with some other bad happening or would you use your power to do something good for someone else?"

Well, if the possibilities here are limitless I'd say that I'd use the power to help someone's life so radically that they discovered a cure for AIDS or became a brilliant diplomat that could solve any conflict, but that seems to be cheating. Limiting the good/evil happening to a life-changing, not world-changing, influence, I guess I'd still just make one of my close friends have a really great life. Still, the temptation to bring an enemy to justice is great. Maybe if you got me in a really bad mood I'd swing that way.

Next Question: You're going to go blind no matter what, plus you have to lose either your ability to speak, or your dominant hand. Which other thing would you chose to lose?

Either way, the situation is pretty bad. If you lose your voice, you're going to have some serious issues communicating since you can't even see your own sign language. Maybe you could master it though... If you lose your dominant hand, you'll be able to communicate fine with your voice, but it'll take a while to train the other hand to work skillfully. Plus touch is a major sense when you're blind, so having just one hand will be pretty rough.

Haha, man I love making these.

if someone offered to grant all your dreams/wishes, but you'll have to sacrifice your family and friends (i.e. you'll forget them, they'll forget you-- no chance of making them remember in any way), would you take it?

next question: if the one person you loved most was taken away, to what extent would you go to get them back?

-...if death took him away, i can't do anything. it was probably his time, i'll have to wait for mine. if anything is possible with love, then it can definitely help me get over and move on with my life. if he/she was abducted by something/someone, i'd probably go as far as giving up my own life for him/her. that's love. Wink

my question: if you were given a chance to live forever, whould you take it? why? why not?

yes i'd take it. i'd be willing to accept any responsibility that came with it. i think the positives would outweigh the negatives, it would help you alot in life trying to figure out what people want.

There appears to be a little problem with the sequence of the posts here. What I mean is that people are responding to questions that were already answered a while ago, as well as forgetting to put new questions. Please be careful to answer only the most recent question and leave one of your own in order to prevent confusion.

"Would you rather be athletic, pretty, or smart? Why? You can only have one choice."

As much as I'd hate to be un-athletic and ugly, I'll have to go with smart, pretty much for the same reason as cmerry did. That is that once we grow hold and our strength and beauty fade, our mind is what we're left with. Better to have a good mind and be pretty happy one's whole life than a weak mind and only enjoy one's youth.

If you were offered the ability to read people's minds, would you take it? You'd be able to know exactly what people were trying to say, and perhaps settle many arguments, but you'd also be able to find out exactly what your friends really thought about you (if you wanted to). Then there's also the whole "with great power, comes great responsibility" thing, so maybe you'd be obligated to always use it for the good of others... Anyway, would you accept it?

That's a hard one...I plead the fifth. Because I don't want to die and sure as hell don't want anybody else to die either! Especially for a crime none of us committed. Oh and also, the death penalty is a stupid law and I feel it should cease to exist.

Would you ask for a disease that someone you loved had if you knew for fact that in order for you to obtain the disease, the person you loved would be rid of it forever and you would die, or would you just let God's will be?

I would ask for it if the person that had it was someone I truly cared about. I know we will all die eventully but I would want that person to be able to live long enough to do the things they want to do and go through their life normally instead of having to rush to live life to the fullest because they have a disease. I woulndn't mind dying for them.

MY QUESTION: There is a similar question going around like this but this one adds a different perspective. Here it is: Would you rather be athletic, pretty, or smart? Why? You can only have one choice.

No, some people pray for some really mean things. My brother once prayed this guy would go to jail. I would answer the really important ones first (don't let my newborn die, etc...) and then answer the smaller ones later (please, let me get an A on the test).

Would you ask for a disease that someone you loved had if you knew for fact that in order for you to obtain the disease, the person you loved would be rid of it forever and you would die, or would you just let God's will be?

1.Would you live forever?__No. Everyone that had ever cared about me or that I had cared about would die and i would have to live on without them.

2.Would you answer EVERYONE's prayers?__No, because some people's prayers may mnot be part of the "Greater Good" or "Grand Design" or whatever. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. Plus, some of the prayers might be harmful to someone else.

3.Would you believe in love at first sight and marry someone you just met because you felt something between you two?__No, I'm sorry, but I don't believe in love-at-first-sight. I generally become good friends with a person, THEN consider a relationship.

4.Would you jump off a cliff without any life-saving device if you knew doing so would give you a 75-25% chance of gaining the power of flight, odds in your favor (but if you don't get it, you're dead)?__GOOD QUESTION! Hm...I'm not sure...I guess I would jump. Maybe not, but I think I would.

5.Would you rather be in the situation of having murdered someone and knowing someone else got blamed and executed, or getting put to death unjustly for a murder you knew the real killer of?__DEFINATLY the latter! I wouldn't be ABLE to do that to someone else, I'm just nto that kind of person.

6.would you rather die right now, and know that everyone you knew and loved would have a long and happy life, or live untill you were one hundred years old and have people suffer?__First choice. No question.

7.Would you rather: be pretty and really stupid or ugly and really smart??__Smart. Easy.

8.Would you accept Millions of dollars in return for getting plastic surgery on your nose to add four inches to the end? And no you could never get it fixed.__NO! I'd look like Micheal Jackson! Besides, I could always get rich another way.

8.If you could somehow go back into the past and correct one mistake in life you made, you would do it?__No, I wouldn't. Obviously, whatver I did was meant to happen, and if I were to go backl and change it, I might make the future worse. Have faith. It's in God's hands.

9.would you rether hurt the one you love or you best friend?__Well, I love all of my best friends so much...besides, I've been kicked to the curb by a "friend" because they got into a relationship and, of course, it ended and they figured they could just walk right over and ask me to fix their relationship for them. Uh, NO! "Relationships may come and go, but Friendships last forever."

Would you go back nad live through it all again, all the good times? Even if that meant living through all the bad times again?
