I'm wondering something. I am a social and political feminist, and I am wondering if anyone knows of any good books on feminism. Now, I'm not a freakishly bizzare feminist who thinks that men need to die, but I am belive that women should be treated as equals. So anyway, anything you can come up with would be great.

Crusade...that word has negative connotations. Beware feminists bearing crosses and sharp swords.

I totally agree. It doesn't make sense.

What book would that be. And no, feminism isn't a scam, it's a crusade that has been carried on since the Revolutionary War.

I know it does. Still, compare my spelling to most newbies (yourself not included), and you'll see what I mean.

Well, I have a book of historical feminist essays. These include essays and speeches by Abigail Adams, Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Virginia Woolf, etc. BTW, Celtic, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your "Disclaimer" lacks in grammatical soundness.

The Mists of Avalon is not a book on feminism itself, but it presents many of women's strength and wisdom through various female characters.
