"Claimed" I promise not to speak But tears continue to leak I fall before my bed As I lightly hit my head I wait for you to talk Or start to walk I need a band-aid To heal the mess I've made No one comprehends Everyone pretends They lightly touch But scared to hug too much I've let everyone win As they watch me die in sin It's broken words That fell from your lips All these moments were captured with my eyes As the happy moment dies I'm stained And I've never been claimed
"If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain, Or help one fainting robin, Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain." - Emily Dickinson

Dinia Midian CevilixA cold wind blows through the air, papers rustle. The dampness seeps into the very substance of my being. I taught you to walk, but then you ran away from me. Such a simple truth avoided by an even simpler lie. Ancient wounds spread across my pale flesh. Something's killing me. My frozen fingertips grasp at reality. I scrape harmlessly away at what that keeps me on the outside. Shivers rack my spine, sending me into convulsions on the floor. Slowly the dust gathers in my hollow bones. Disease spreads through my veins, I gasp silently for one last breath. Something's killing me. Skewed thoughts take form in my fragile mind. Emptiness no more - I laugh as the darkness surrounds me. Hands reach out for my soul, I try to escape. I cannot run. I cannot scream. Something's killing me. You break me open, turn out the lights. Let the shadows fade with my body. Claws scrape against the floor. A scream awakens me from my sleep. I am no longer here. Something's killing me.

Its actually about society forcing me to keep my mouth shut for fear of being cast out...lol or something along those lines but i like the interpretation of lust/love and now that i am older i can see how that is applied

Allpoetry can be addictive. Hopeless WanderingExistence is a game; nothing is eternal in its being. Stars broken, rivers dried, empty vessels, tainted pride. But maybe there is light, maybe there is water. Maybe there's hope of finding what is forever lost. Bonded by an invisible thread not even death can separate, It is but a mere divide, too weak to break The bonds that human sufferings make. But the river scarce does breathe, and all there is left is a belief In existence, in another realm, in life after death To support the thin web of relations, To know what you belong to the eternal, That which has been and which will be Even after you cease to be, engulfing you within.
The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on. - Robert Bloch

Who doth I address this to? For mine whose pagnes unknown to you I hath no key to enter the gate The entryway to my own disgrace My mind forsaken by an adulterous maw Unable to communicate my own thought Lest i be punished, L'est i be chided A secret solitary to merely gods finding For never shall such estranged words breech these lips

OpeningI said I was 50 feet, underneath the ground, and that I was swirling in my despair But no one heard me A "what's wrong, wanderer" would have kept the tears from falling at your expense Truly, why try anymore? You are no friend of mine You are no friend of mine. You move away when I need you, When I'm crying to you! Why Brother! My loved brother... Why are you gone my friend, why are you gone I close my eyes and I see your beautiful smiling face, But when I open them, You're not there, and I'm all alone again

Forever HauntedAnd so it begins. These fragile lives are lead out before the very minds that hold them. Freedom is futile, choice is naught but your destined path in life. Life, this poor excuse for a righteous living. What is life but to show you the pain of living? Death - the only true escape from pain. And so one must be dead to experience true freedom. Mankind is nothing more than a cancer that infests this world. They seek, they maim, they destroy, they kill. Or at least they will until they kill themselves with pointless wars over pointless causes. That is why I despise man, it makes me glad that I can be separated, though slightly, from such brutal and terrible monsters. At least the others, rejected - respect life for what it is. Live with it in a peaceful coexistence. It was peaceful until the negative effects of the mass media skewed our images. Our pure selves were nothing but a shallow core beneath a clouded mask of fear and insecurity. Mankind fears what it cannot understand. Unfortunately for them there is much they do not understand. Science is their god, their saviour, their escape from anything rational. They beg for science to explain everything, when they know that deep within themselves lies the truth - not all things can be explained. And so I lie, a twisted soul in a blackened pit of my own dark existence.

Prayer to an Absent GodLord, Protect those Who can’t protect themselves Feed those Who know hunger better than they know their fathers Carry those Knocked down to their knees Heal those Ravaged by disease Answer those Kneeling by their beds Show those Searching for the way Understand those No longer doing so Calm those Not willing to agree But most importantly … Forgive them Father they know not what they do Forgive them for being so weak they would rather be initiated Forgive them for being so hungry they would rather knock over the 7-11 Forgive them for being so low they would rather keep falling Forgive them for being so sick they would rather be dead Forgive them for being so faithful they would rather pray Forgive them for being so lost they would rather not be found Forgive them for being so faithless they would rather sin Forgive them for being so angry they would rather curse God than pray to Him Forgive us Father for we know not what we do But we know We are still weak We are still hungry We are still low We are still sick We are still faithful We are still lost We are still faithless We are still angry But most importantly … We are still praying We are still waiting ANSWER US… I DARE YOU.

Nothing could be further from the truth. We wrote these poems to express our true feelings from the depths of our souls. These poems, or rather works of genius, are a reflection of our very being and as such are forwarding the goals of poetry by truly reflecting human nature and the strife that lies within all of us. If you are offended by such poetry, it is by your own doing.

Wah wah wah. Just because you don't agree with and/or appreciate what we can offer to the poetic society, don't censor us. Or keep whining, it keeps us entertained.
