I actually find that Ironic, VoiceofAmerica, because in your profile you say you would: "convert everyone to Christianity". The society in Brave New World is so VERY far from Christianity.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

It's a dystopia, kind of like 1984, but it seems to be more accurate as far as what's in store for us in the future

I am definitely more into fiction. My favorite books include the entire Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, Fahrenheit 451, Walden, Anything by Thomass Hardy, almost anything by Ayn Rand, and Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard. That book was NOTHING like the movie which totally massacred the book. I am currently reading The Lord of the Rings Trilogy again. Oh and I don't know the authors but Fire Arrow and Beyond the North Wind are two of my all time favorite books.

One of THE BEST books I have ever read is "The Sphere", by Micheal Crighton. All of his books are great. Once I read an older compilation of short stories, "Best Science Fiction Stories of the Year" from 1975. It was really good also.

I tend to like books that make me question my existence. I'm not reading anything right now, but looking at some of these posts, I think I'll go look for a Pushkin or Tolstoy book. One of the best poems I've ever read was in russian, I don't even remember what it was called, or the author. Kinda sad.
