My Favourite is hard to choose. Perhaps the Lord of the Rings, no too traditional. ASnyhing fanstasy, too sad. The Iliad, too classical...

Definatly Cold, Comfort Farm (author unknown) or The Importance of Being Earnest (Oscar Wilde) A hilarious satire of some of the classic english novels.

Also anything by Terry Prachett

Whoa, Jam likes The Catcher in the Rye. Wait but Holden swear a lot. He also smokes and drinks and almost has sex too. Looks like Jam is softening up.

leiDuag, that was a good book. Smile

Staying Fat For Sarah Brynes is on my favorite list right now. Too many good books to have an absolute favorite though.

I have to read "A Seperate Peace" for school though.

Right now, I'm reading Has Globalization Gone Too Far? by Dani Rodrink. It's a bit dry or perhaps it seems that way because I've developed a taste for fantasy fiction. I'm also readng Black Boy by Richard Wright for english class.

My favorite is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (yes I am an unforgivable nerd) and I am actually reading a non-fantasy book (schocking!!). I am reading Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson.

Agreed. The Discworld series would be a nice start. I am up to Jingo so far, college is making things busy.

As for suggestions, you know of the works of R. A. Salvatore, correct? I recommend him with outstanding honors, an amazing author.

The Sabriel trilogy is very good.
My favorite book is Emma, Jane Eyre's a close second.

Currently, I'm reading Scar Tissue, which is the autobiography of Anthony Kiedis, the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Also, Sabriel and sequels. Nix is a great author. I highly recommend The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman. And also Angels and Demons. I feel that the Angels and Demons is better than the Davinci Code but has seen condiderably less publicity.
