Out of curiousity, has anyone here ever read The Summer of Katya (I think it went out of print a while ago)? And if so, what did you think of it? I loved it...

my favorite book of all time is The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. he has been my role model in many ways and is a genuis in writing. I hope that some day I can publish novels and he is a writer who helped me along the way.

The DiVinchi Code is an all time favorite. The Catcher in the Rye is also good along with Tuck Everlasting.

my favorite book that i can think of right now was "up on cloud nine" but i dont remember who its by. right now im reading "all american girl" which is a little piece of fluff by meg cabot that im reading for brainless enjoyment. i also read this really good book called "the time traveler's wife" which was about this guy who has a "medical disorder" that makes him ski through time, and his wife and how they meet at different times. its cool but weird at parts

Its about the end of the world. The atichrist is finally brought onto earth (born onto earth as christ was). And this angel and devil that have been living here and being friends with each other decide they don't want the world to end. So they try to stop his growing up and destroying the world throughout the book. Its so hard to describe. . .but its funny. Often my parents would walk into my room while I was in tears from laughing and they wouldn't know what it was that I found so funny.

Song of Ice and Fire 1- A Game of Thrones 2- A Clash of Kings 3- A Storm of Swords 4- A Feast for Crows It's a series by George R R Martin. I mentioned it before, it's ORGASMICALLY good. The fourth one hasn't come out yet. But we are all DYING in anticipation. It's one of those fantasy novels that my friends and I put up there next to Tolkien. I recommend everyone read them. LoudandProud- Ah! Tamora Pierce, Catcher, and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants! *Sigh* Love them, love them! Lanna
