Anymaways....... Ummm....I've loved and been loved and it's unconditional and forgiving and loving is always giving of yourself and your time and.....it's too deep to describe, exactly why it's called an emotion, you can't describe it. You can only know it when you feel it for yourself.

If God is love, love is God. I too stayed in an abusive relationship 6 months claiming love is what kept me there. That, was not love. Now I know. If anyone claims to love you but does not love you the way God loves you, it is not love. God's love is patient, kind, it always protects, always trusts, it's unconditional, ever-lasting. Most of us may never know that kind of love through a man or a woman. But God gives that kind of love always and forever. There is only one true love and it comes from God.

I was angry about it too, CelticNewAger. I feel you completely! But guess what, I found a true love that never fails that no man or woman can ever give.

I think that love is something everyone has. Everyone has experienced it at one time in their life and for those who haven't you will know when you do. It's not like when you have a crush on someone because that can fade real quick but you know when you are "in love" because you have this feeling. And it's something that you can't or don't feel with someone you have a crush on. Well you'll see in time.

One of the favourite things for me to ponder; Love is more than just an emotion. No, love is the very essence of humanity. As many forms and shapes it take, love is sustenance to the soul and mind, and feels like cool water pouring gently over a parched spirit. Love binds the heart and soul together with such an overpowering force that hardly anyone can part from it, at least not that easily. As vibrant and powerful as it is, love is also extremely fragile. With that said, there's always a "love" for everyone; mother and child, brother and sister, auntie and nephew. That's why it unites the world and make it go round. Enough said.

um...., uh... lol, just kidding. LOVE. GOod quetion, and lots of different answers. What is love? I really am not sure, but I think love is everything. Loving one another, and being loved back, but not asking for anything in return. Love isn't always about dating each other and falling in love and junk. Love can be many of things. It has like many definitions to it. It can be good most of the time, but it can also cause pain. You can be in love with anything, everything, and anyone. Me, I'm in love with life. Maybe you all heard of this one,... "The fruit of the Spirit is love, Joy, peace, goodness and faith and the greatest of these is LOVE. See people, we can't live without love. Love for others, love for ourselves, and love for God. Love, and love always. Never use the word Hate.Just love. That's all we need in this world.

I think if you are asking about the love that two people share than I think that that is the most beautiful thing in the world to me. There is this saying about love that I think really it hits the nail right on the head. I don't know who said it but it goes like this, "I am not looking for someone I can live with. I am looking for someone I can't live without." I think that if you are ever in doubt about whether you are in love with someone, ask yourself that. If they aren't someone you can see yourself with in the long run I would say it's time to end it.

Love comes in so many ways, it all depends on which you mean. If you mean in faling in-love, then it's when your heart yearsn to be with that other person, and apart it feels like it could break. It's when you begin to care more and more that the other person is always ok, and that they feel the same way. Thats what I believe is that type of love. While the other is just caring for another person, and wanting to be there for them.....really love can't be defined, it's one of those things that up to the person. Like beuty being in the eye of the beholder.

Real, honest love is the closest people can get to God. Love is passion, feeling, and grace. Love is beauty. Love is the greatest gift that humankind has ever received - and we are all called to use it. Listen to George.

"love" made me date a guy who beat me for 6 months. "love" made me date men in their 30s and early 40s. "Love" has done nothing but add to the problems

God is many things, I am a Christian I believe that God is forgiveness, kindness, mercy, hope, faith, love, Jesus, etc. I know God is love it's just that having to find love with another human being is a bi**h. Love with God is much more; His love is unconditional; His love for us will always be forever.

I've actually been thinking about this a lot here recently. I think that part of what love really is is when we as humans can give up our natural tendency to be selfish. It's putting someone else before yourself and not giving up on them.
