In my one of the classrooms there is this poster that says "I close my eyes to see". I think his quote is true. But I want to know what you all think about it and what do you see when you close you eyes? Blackness or somthing else.

That's exactly how I interpreted it. I think that when we close our eyes it helps us connect with ourselfs and find out how we truly feel about things. It's a moment of reflection. When our eyes are opened we see the things that influence us but eyes shut is seeing the real you.

I think what the quote means is simply not to trust what you see around you to tell you who you are, but to close your eyes discover who you are on your on and approach the world on your on time, when you are more prepared for it.

I think that the quate means that nowadays we have so much information, not always true, put in our faces, and instead of looking at this we need to look in our minds to find our true feelings

When i close my eyes i see nothing.... the nothing represents my not having to see evil, see others in pain, not having to see the troubles others go through. when i close my eyes i see.....peace
