Disclaimer: This thread will contain important information from ALL the HP novels. Do not read if you don’t want the books spoiled before you read them. It’s the beginning of the end. It’s sad but true. We know the title. That means that shortly will come the release date, cover art, and eventually the book. What a bittersweet moment that will be, to finally have it in my hands. Along with all the talk of when the final book will come out, comes the talk of what it will say in it. Will Harry die? Will Voldemort? Is Snape evil? Will anyone else die? Will Harry go back to school? Who is R.A.B? What are the remaining Horcruxes? Is Sirius really dead? The list could go on and on. If you want a list of loose ends you can go here http://www.mugglenet.com/books/futurebooks/book7/looseends.shtmlThis thread is dedicated to theorizing about what will happen in the final book. Please share all your theories. (Except the ones that Dumbledore is not dead. He died get over it.) I will start by sharing a few of my theories. -Sirius is not dead. The veil is an object that is still very mysterious to us. We were not given a lot of information about it. All we know is that it is a portal between the realm of the living an that of the dead. No where was it ever said that you die when going through it. JKR also made a point to specify the color of the spell that Bellatrix hit him with. It was red. Red is the color of the Stupefy spell. So from this we know that Sirius was not dead when he fell through the veil. -Voldemort AND Harry are going to die JKR is no stranger to killing off beloved characters. In order to kill Voldemort I believe that Harry may have to sacrifice himself. Or he will sacrifice himself to save another person (he loves being a martyr). Love is a huge theme in these novels so the latter of the two might be a better guess. -All the Weasly’s are safe. I think JKR likes this family to much to let them go. Not to mention there are 7 kids. 7 is a very lucky/magical number in the books. I will post more later if people decide to participate.

Said images have already been taking down and said leak has a huge lawsuit against him not to mention that there's a possability the pages were faked even if they were real and still around I wouldn't bother. I mean this is a big closure for me for a series I've loved since I was a kid, sneaking a look at it before hand... seems kinda like cheating on some level

*bump* So pictures of the book have leaked on line and people have already read it. I am denying myself the temptation and waiting until Saturday. Anybody come across these and choose to read them? If so, say nothing, just say yes or no and why.

To get a better idea of what might happen in the book, I also looked up the UK kids cover. Are they in Gringots? If so what are they doing there? What is behind Harry, a goblin or a house elf? Why is it holding a sword? To kill Harry, stop him from something, protection, because he is admiring it? Why is Harry's arm torn up? Who's vault are they in. If they aren't at Gringots, than where are they? Why are they all screaming and falling? Are they falling from the top of the pile? If so why? Is there something at the top or is that creature pulling them back? Or was it simply an avalanche of gold? UK kids cover

Well I'm All for him not being dead. If you read above I outlined that. So if the veil is destroyed he could possible come pack from where ever he is.

If it's the veil, what might that mean about Sirius? That is a topic I'm very interested in.

Oh I put in so much more than you know and more than I care to share. Anyways, the mess of stone and wood at the bottom, could that possibly be the veil?

Yay! Shade, I love you! You revived this thread! Anyways... I see that Harry is wearing Slytherin's locket. I'm not sure if the curtainish things on the side are just curtains or if in someways they reapresent the veil. It looks like they could be in the veil Room. I'm also not sure, but it looks like the shadowy figures could be death eaters. I still haven't come up with a theory that explains the broken wood at the bottom.

Here's the book cover if anyone was wondering. It looks kind of neat, I guess.

Ah. Well then. Here's what I meant by all of those. Talent, maybe, but very little. He's an Adept, but aren't they all? Self discipline, alright. I'll give him that. He does seem to have an illogical drive to succeed. Good friends? No. They're good to him, but are they useful? Hermione, maybe... but he seems to surround himself with all the odd miscreants who have little or no talent. Protection, not by his design.

No. I meant that he doesn't have expirence but he does have talent, self discipline, good friends and protection. And if he doesn't have protection I am sure YN would send him a condom. Oh and Snape would kick his little emo ass

And why, pray tell, does he have experience? Six years of school! Ha! Hardly experience worth noting, especially when he stands next to V. Or Snape.

No to everything but experience. And it would only be a shock to half the fandom.

I think it would be a nice shock for all the fans. It seems like she's been treating him as a "protected character." He never dies, hardly gets hurt, and has thwarted V many times when obviously he is lacking in talent, self discipline, good judgement, good friends, protection and finally, experience. He should die. He asked for it. He and Eragon. And every other young hero-type out there who saves the day with none of these prerequisites that every hero must have! Except for Link, because he is just plain awesome. Also, he's left handed.
