Ok, I'm really confused. Ghandi once said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" ok, I get that, but Ann wilson once said, "If faith is blind, through darkness it will guide us" I personally think that it true. That people who can't see anything will have an easier time through darkness, but are they able to just guide themselves, or are they able to guide everyoe else as well?

Ah. I never saw it that way.

One thing though, I think that that quote is saying that faith will guide us, not that we will guide others. But that faith(whatever it might mean to you) will guide us all. That is why her question confused me.

Your life is for one person: yourself. Faith is a very personal journey. It means something completely different to each individual. Even if you are in the same religon as someone else, faith to you and faith to them are completely different realities. You have different hardships, and different accomplishes. You have different journeys. You can't lead someone through faith, because their journey is not yours. You can't lead them down your path, even if you destination is the same.

Faith is an individual journey. You are only supposed to lead people to the darkness, not through it. It is a very dark and alone path. You may meet other wayfairers in your travels to the Source, but you are not meant to lead them.

I think that what she was trying to say was that since faith is said to be blind(meaning that you believe in something that you cannot see) than that faith shall guide you through hard times(darkness).

I don't quite understand your question in the end. Can you rephrase yourself or explain it a bit?

Edit: By the way, it's true what Ghandi is saying about vengeance.
