Brehon- I'm assuming it's McGonnagall, though everyone thought she'd be headmistress in book 7, and everyone was wrong. After Snape and Dumbledore, though, she does appear to be the prof with the most power.
And I agree with you about Dudley's worst thought. That'd be an interesting thing to hear.
There's a rumor-- via mugglenet-- that JKR may put out a book full of backstory. I think she should because that may answer questions we're all wondering.

Just to clarify, who is the headmaster of Hogwarts at the end of the book? I remember the minister, but not the headmaster, who is arguably the more important. And another thing, I know that the greater unification of the magical races was supposed to happen, but the epilogue didn't convey any difference. No house elves, no goblins.I also want to know what Dudley saw when the Dementors attacked him; we know Dumbledore's worst moment, why not Dudley's?
I was just happy that the end didn't resolve with Harry's death in a Christ-like sacrifice. So, yes, he did die, but he came back more permanently than Christ, and that is after all what matters. I agree with Ikki's absolute favourite quote. I found the death of Severus touching, when added to the Albus Severus and 'the bravest man I have ever known' speech. And the final defence of Hogwarts; classic.

Couple more questions. One is courtesy of Meg, but I was wondering, too.
With Fred gone, what happens to the Twins' business? Does George keep it up, or does he forget about it? Courtesy of Meg: What are Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, et al's jobs? Who raises Teddy? Harry or Andromeda? Does Andromeda raise him until Harry gets a job and marries, or does Harry take him from the get go?
I know I'll come up with more the more I dwell on it. Be prepared.

Um, I'm not that far. I like enjoying a book, and I can't enjoy it when I read it under a day. I'm on chapter twelve or something. They just left the Ministry of Magic and are camping out in a field. But I don't know what you mean by "getting worse." I love it when authors off their characters.

Double, sorry. So I went on Mugglenet, because I knew they had what I thought of written down. And here's what they reminded me of (And some I have on my own):
Did we ever find out who can, in later life, perform magic? What about why some people don't become ghosts and others do? What were the Potter's occupations, and where did their gold come from? What happened to Harry's Grandparents? What happened to the Dursley's? What happened to the other characters, not mentioned in the epilogue?
And also, did anyone else think that there would be a more important meaning behind Harry's eyes other than the fact that it reminded Snape of Lily?

I loved it. I love how she's able to go back to seemingly irrelevant details and make them important. She tells a great story and she does a wonderful job of making seemingly static characters dynamic. Call the ending cheesy, but it's what most fans wanted: good triumphs over evil, etc, ect. I thought the ending was adorable. Albus Severus, the best of two houses. HP was ALWAYS a fairy tale of sorts. A dark fairy tale, yes, but in the end the hero had to live happily ever after with the girl and his sidekicks. She ended how she should have ended it. (in my humble opinion, of course)

Yeah...I was not very good company on the boat yesterday. I really didn't like the epilogue. (I liked what happened...just not the way it was put together.) It was pretty cheesy and I think it kind of ruined it.

Oh, thank God. Someone but me has read it. As in all the way through...

Have you only gotten through the first few chapters? It gets worse...

Well she sure didn't hold anything back in the first chapters. People are dropping off like flies.
