This is one of my favorite short stories. I won't give away much, but it's basically about two cowboys who become friends and then develop an intimate relationship while herding sheep in rural Wyoming. Link to the story here.I put a board up about it a long time ago, before I knew it was being made into a movie. The movie, which comes out in December, is directed by Ang Lee and stars Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. I cannot fricking wait. Im the hopes that some of you will read the story before you see the movie, or want to see the movie after reading the story, I've posted a link to it above. It takes an hour or two to read, and it's about ten pages or so printed with small font. Enjoy.

Lol, I read it and didn't respond. It's an incredible and it's going to be one bad-*** movie. I'm surprised Heath Ledger is gonna be in it. But yeah, this should be part of some curriculum. Brilliant.

*bump* Come on...I put this here for a reason. It's a good story and it's short. Read it dammit. You'll lean what good writing is like, and you'll have insight into a movie that has already won awards at international film festivals, and is said to be a strong contender for the Oscars/Academy Awards.

Read it. Good story. Huzzah for Jake Gyllenhaal.
I like these calm little moments before the storm.
