Hi Everybody!

I have just seen the film, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and thought it was a very good film. When i say this, i mean that the film itself is good, not necessarily that it adhears to the storyline of the original book.

Have any of you seen the film? I can on;y assume that it is out in the US. What did you think of it? How did it compare to the book and the radio series?

So many questions, so little time!

It was decent. I enjoyed Marvin and the dry humour. It was a little off from the book, but I can understand why they did what they did. I enjoyed it, but I've seen better.

I like these calm little moments before the storm.

I didn't think it was the best movie I've ever seen, but it did do the book justice, although they mixed things up a bit to make sense in the movie. I especially liked Alan Rickman's voicework as Marvin. But I'll stick with the book for now. Much funnier, in that dry British way.

Personally, I think the movie would have been so much better if John Cleese was in it somewhere.
