GOSH. I hate it when people freaking do this. I get all excited that kelso is back so I click on it and... no. Someone just felt the need to post on a dead thread.

My favorite genres are any kind of comedy, action, sci-fi, and most fantasy. Fav movies: Action: Any James Bond. If forced to pick a specific Bond, it'd be a tie between Moonraker and Goldeneye. Comedy: Hands down, it's Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Runners up are Rat Race and Pirates of the Caribbean. Sci-fi: Star Wars. All of it. Fantasy: LOTR. All three, although Return of the King was my favorite. Runner up: Harry Potter. What else is there? Sports: Remember the Titans. Drama: October Sky. War: Saving Private Ryan. Or maybe Enemy at the Gates. Both are good. Really good. Made me all teary-eyed.
The more you know, the less you don't know.

Today I decided I was going to be all brave and watch my first real horror film. So I rented The Ring and The Shinning. And then I not only found out I wasn't even scared of scary movies, but that The Ring tops my list of "Funniest movie...Ever." I was the only person in the room who saw the humor in a dead person's face after the seventh day. Everyone else was screaming. Oh well. They were both okay. Nothing fabulous.

Am I the only one who likes Newsies? Probably. I think that movie has subliminal messages because I don't know why I like it. I like to think it's the subliminal messages and that I'm not so superficial that I only like the movie for the hot guys. That is what I like to think.

Crazy/Beautiful (This movie is phenomenal---I don't really cry that often but this movie chokes me up!)
The Faculty (I don't know why I like this so much other than I'm a Josh Harnett/Elijah Wood nut. And this was BEFORE the Pearl Harbor/Lord of the Rings movies.)
City of Angels (Great concept. And how can you NOT love a sappy romance between Nicholas Cage and Meg Ryan---two fantastic actors.)
8 Mile (I just like the way this is made and it's funny in a lot of places. Plus, I dig Eminem.)
The Wizard of Oz (It will probably always be within the top 3 somewhere. It's been a favorite since I was five.)
From Hell (I like to study about Jack the Ripper...and this has Johnny Depp! Plus a depressing ending.)
Identity (Very cool movie. Plus John Cusack!)
Interview with the Vampire (Classic. Tom Cruise does an excellent Lestat but I think the one in Queen of the Damned is hotter. But this movie is definitely better.)
Joy Ride (I don't get scared at all and this movie creeps me out a little.)
Life As a House (I was a huge Hayden Christensen fan before the new Star Wars movies came out. And he is superb in this movie.)
Psycho (1960) (This is another classic. If you haven't seen it, rent it now or wait until it comes on TV. Alfred Hitchcock is a master.)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) (The new version is okay (and funny) but nothing beats the original.)
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Another childhood favorite. I watch it every time it comes on TV.)
A Little Princess (I adore the book and the movie is good too.)
Pirates of the Caribbean (Johnny Depp plus Orlando Bloom plus pirates plus a really well-made movie. This is awesome. I saw it in theater and it was just amazing. My marching band's theme this year is Pirates of the Caribbean!)
Ed Gein (Indie film about the infamous serial killer who inspired The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence of the Lambs, and others.)
The Breakfast Club (C'mon, who doesn't like this movie?)
Good Will Hunting (Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Robin Williams. And Matt's a genius kid! It's fantastic!)
Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, and Red Dragon (Silence was the best of the three but I thought Red Dragon was better than Hannibal. All three were good movies and I adore Anthony Hopkins as Dr.Hannibal Lecter)
Lord of the Rings (Phenomenally made movies and I love all the actors/actresses. I still think the books are a bit hard to read though.)
The Lion King (My very favorite animated movie.)
Finding Nemo (My second favorite animated movie.)
10 Things I Hate About You (Julia Stiles is one of my favorite actresses and I love the character she potrays here. Very funny movie with lots of romance as well.)
Happy Gilmore (My favorite Adam Sandler movie. He's hilarious.)
Pieces of April (Indie film starring Katie Holmes. I just like the concept and the characters. Kind of a weird flick but good all the same.)
Breakfast at Tiffany's (One of my favorite older movies. Audrey Hepburn is awesome.)
That's all I can think of right now. Basically, if I can watch a movie over and over again and not get tired of it, it's a favorite. I may come back and post more later. Enjoy your movie viewing!

ICELAND: I read The Last Unicorn before I saw the movie. I'm very obsessive about reading the book first and then seeing the movie. lol. GRR. I do not want another movie made!! The cartoon was good enough! They should just leave it. Darn those Hollywood-types always trying to milk the **** out of everything!!!

You know what movie had a great ending? Queen of The Damned. Yeah I know a lot of people didn't like the movie itself, but the very ending scene, where the girl and the vampire (well, both were vamps at the end) are walking on a street in a city, and all the cars are rushing past them, to really cool music. Perfect shot.
