-----"The Last Unicorn (I used to have it on video, but it got lost when I was 9 or something! I was so mad!!!!!)"

For those of you who don't know what it is, it was a great anime movie based on a much better book by Peter S. Beagle. For those of you who didn't read the book, it's a classic. It's kind of like Tolkien's Hobbit or Lord of the Rings books, except much better. Very deep meaning in it, commenting on the destruction of magic and fantasy by humankind.

It just came out on DVD. Even bigger, an actual movie is being made out of it, it's coming out in 2005. Hopefully, it will maintain the magic and uniqueness that made the book and animated version so great.

Oh, also, Pitch Black, Gorillas In The Mist, Wait Until Dark, and Twin Warriors are great movies too. Chronicles of Riddick was a terrible Hollywood moneymaker sequel, having little to do with Pitch Black.

I want to. I just finished reading the book. I was crying while I was reading, so I'll probably cry during the movie too. :/ I guess I should wear water-proof make-up. Wink

I'm sorry. But the search isn't working and I dont feel like bringing back ancient history. Out with the old and in with the new.

I forgot the Lord of the Rings! Has anyone here seen The Notebook? It was alright. It was really sappy and everyone cried in the theatre but me. Like, EVERYONE. Even the men. But not me, I'm friggin Ice Woman from Hell.
