Al: Maybe you're right. But be carefull, Sam. And stick close.

Al: *hits a pressure point on gina*
Al: my apologies charlie on having to do that
Charlie: nah it's quite alright Al
Al: brad let's go we have a tourney to fight
Brad: but you didn't get invited
Al: I have a standing invitation now let's move out

Charlie: "That, was Lord Travino. He is a very powerful villian & the current leader of the Evil Empire of Super Villians, or EESV for short. The Dark Cup is a fighting tournament for super villians, aliens, demons, dark gods, & any other form of scum you can think of. It is held anually in China, & is funded by EESV & the Wujong gang; the crime family that now runs the E-club. Thanks to the Wujong gang, the E in E-club now means "evil". For Lord Travino to offer a personal invite to Brad means that he has something to gain by having him there. But what?"
Brad: "Well whatever the reason, I'm going. I can't risk him exposing me."
Gina: "Oh no you're not!"

Sam: Now, I know to all you long-term super heros this is a dumb question, but... What is the Dark Cup?
Yoji: Yeah. And who was that?

Moments later, Lord Travino walks into Jing's Fine Chinese with Raven held in the air inside a telekinetic field.
Lord Travino: "Awe, if it isn't my old friends Devil Dog, Raven, & White Tiger. How the hell are you?"
Al: "Alot better than you'll be if you don't put her down!"
Lord Travino: "Oh, her? *sets Raven down in a chair beside Al* She's fine as you can see. Sorry about that by the way."
Charlie: "You! You get out of my resturant right now! Do not make me get ugly!"
Lord Travino: "Cool your jets there old timer, I'm not here to bother anyone. I simply wish to extend an offer to our mutual friend Brad, or should I call you The Rook? Or perhaps...Gravestone?"
Brad stands right up & stares Lord Travino in the eyes.
Brad: "Who the fuck ar you, what the fuck do you want, & how the fuck do you know that?!"
Charlie: "He is Lord Travino. I told you about him before."
Brad: "You mean, he's the big bad leader of EESV (Evil Empire of Super Villians)?!"
Lord Travino: "One & the same. To answer your other two questions, I know who you are because I've been watching you for awhile. What I want is simple: I want you to enter the Dark Cup Fighting Tournament, an underground event where only the strong survive. It's funded of course by EESV & my business partners in the Wujong gang. Of course, the rest of you are invited as well."
Brad: "Why?! Why do you want me there?!"
Lord Travino: "Why? Because, simply, you are one of the strongest fighters I've seen in a long time, & we need some new talent to help "fill seats" if you will."
Brad: "& if I refuse?"
Lord Travino: "Then I guess the whole world will be very interested in finding out who the man behind Gravestone is, won't they?"
Brad tenses up & clenches his fist. Lord Travino smiles.
Lord Travino: "Come to China 5 days from now. Until then--"
Lord Travino levitates up & flies away at a top speed. Just then Yoji comes back from his delivery.
Yoji: "Now who the fuck was that? What did I miss?"

*raven stops and listens intently*
Raven: Oh, God. He's here.
Al: Who is?
But Raven is already gone, headed straight for Lord Travino, who has just turned the corner onto the street in front of Charlie's place.

Raven: Are you sure that's a good idea? Just because he works in the DIA doesn't mean that John was ever known for his discrepancy...
Al: Would you relax? I'm not talking about him.
Raven: Really? Then who are you talking about?

Al: well your asking the wrong guy, first this is DIA or Defense Intelligence Agency so I wouldn't know any of their staff...
Brad: *looks slightly crestfallen*
Al: however I can put you in touch with an old squadmate of mine who's working over there now, maybe he can help you out

Gina walks up to Sam, whos washing tables in the resturaunt.
Gina: So, quite a day.
Sam: To say the least, I never expected having super powers would be this much of a problem
Gina: Yeah, times like this make me almost glad I don't have any
Sam: So, how do you know Brad?
Gina: It's a pretty long story
Sam: We have plenty of time
Gina begins a story of how she and Brad met.

Brad: "Ok! You wanna talk? Lets talk!"
Gina punches him a couple of times & slaps him.
Brad: "Ow! Hit me again & I might just hit you back girl! That was totally uncalled for!"
She just stands there while her eyes tear up.
Gina: "How dare you?! How dare you risk your life the way you've been?! I mean, I knew were out fighting, but I didn't know who! I just found out tonight by Louis, Kent, Yoji, & your new friends Al, Rachel, & Sam that you've been fighting supervillians, monsters, the Road Lizards, & the Wujong Gang! *now crying* When you left, I was so worried that you weren't coming back. I've been so scared. *runs over & hugs him real tight* I missed you so much these past few months. You're forbidden to leave me again! Do you understand?!"
Brad: *hugs her back & kisses her head* "Don't worry I won't. Its ok. I'm back & I'm not leaving without you. Its ok. I'm safe, you're safe. Thats all that matters."
Gina: "I love you."
Brad: "I love you too baby."
They kiss long & hard. Then they realize that Louis, Kent, Yoji, & Sam are all watching them.
Gina: "Hey! Aren't you guys supposed to be doing something?"
Brad: "Yeah! Making-out is not a spectator sport!"
Everybody scrambles to make it look like they aren't watching, & Yoji drives off to deliver the food.
Brad: *turning back to Gina* "Come on. We better get back inside. You can answer some of Sam's questions while I answer Al's & Rachel's."
The 2 go in & Gina heads to the kitchen. Brad sits down next to Al & Rachel.
Brad: *sighs* "I guess you 2 will be wanting an explanation, right?"
Rachel: "Yes please!"
Al: "--& not just about what happened tonight. We also are curious about you & Gina."
Brad: "Ok. Thats simple. Back when I first moved in was when I met Gina. She's Charlie's youngest daughter so she's the only one who still lives with him. Her 2 big sisters moved to China shortly before I showed up. We hit it off right away. We actually started getting pretty involved, if you get my drift. When Charlie found out he got pretty upset but he soon got over it. Everything went perfect from there until I left a couple of months ago. I had heard a few rumors that lead me to believe that both my friend Marcus & professor Adkins were both still alive, so I spent some time hanging out with The Thing while I gathered info. All I found was this. *pulls out the card* Its Adkins's old ID card from when he still worked for the military. I was actually hoping that you *pointing at Al* could tell me something if you know anything about it."
Al just examins the card carefully.
Brad: "Anywho, what happened tonight was simply me getting attacked by the last couple of uncaught members of the Road Lizards. As far as I know they are all now in custody & the E-club suffered minimal damage."
Al finishes examining the card.
Brad: "So...can you tell me anything?"

Al: Sam I don't need an explanation for what you were up to, however I'm going to kill mark next time I see him
Sam: but...I
Al: *points* go help Mr. Jing for a bit
*sam leaves*
Al: Raven before we chat with Rook and Gina we need to finish our conversation
Raven: what more is there to really say?
Al: dammit to the four corners of hell woman I need an explanation!
Raven: why? why do you need one so badly
Al*shifts eyes and face from raven and speaking softly says*: so I can move on and hopefully live my own life again

Charlie: "Alright you 3. You, *addressing Sam* you talked to the police without giving away Brad's secret?"
Sam: "Yes. They don't suspect him of anything."
Charlie: "Good. Then you may leave. I must speak to these 2 alone."
Sam: "Ok. *addressing Brad & Gina* Good luck."
Sam leaves the room.
Charlie: "I spoke to your friends Louis, Kent, & Yoji. Nice young men. In need of discipline, but nice. They told me about everything that happened & why. I'm not angry about the incident. What I'm angry about is why you were even involved in it."
Gina: "Dad, listen--"
Charlie: *interupting her* "Don't you dad listen to me! How long have been going to the E-club?! You are only 18! You have no business going out & clubbing; I don't care what club it is, but especially that one! You know who controls it & what kind of business they do there! No questions asked, you are not to go there again! Understand?!"
Gina: *sighs* "Yes father."
Charlie: "Go help in kitchen."
As Gina leaves she stops & whispers something to Brad.
Gina: "You & I need to talk after you're done talking to dad."
She leaves.
Charlie: *now turning to Brad* "You have been recklass. Everytime I turn around I see new story about you in paper; & each time it is nothing but bad. I took you in, & agreed to help you as your master, but how can I do that when you no tell me about where you are or who you are fighting? Now, I understand why you go to that club, but you are not to take Gina with you anymore. She doesn't belong in your world. She doesn't belong in my world. She belongs in school where is safe. That is why I first disapproved of your relationship. I have no problem with you 2 being a couple anymore; my problem is with her getting involved in your fights. In our fights. Please, be more careful."
Brad: "Yes master. It will not happen again."
Charlie: "Good. You may go now. I need a few minutes to think."
Brad bows & leaves. Gina walks up to him.
Gina: "We need to go talk outside. Now."
Brad: "Ok."
As they head out the door, Raven sends Brad a telepathic message.
Raven: "When you're done talking with her, us 3 are going to want a couple of explanations too."

Sam follows Charlie to the back of the resturaunt.
Sam: Brad, you owe me big time
Brad: Why?
Sam: Why? You left me to talk to the cops! I hate cops!
Brad: You have lots of experience with cops?
Sam: Eh. I got in a fight with a girl at school. I got mad. A water pipe broke over her head
Brad starts laughing
Sam: Yeah, if only the police thought it was that funny. After spending more time then I ever want to in a Police station, they decided it was a freak accident. But it still wasn't fun.

Brad & Gina slide into the booth where Raven & Al are sitting.
Raven: "Hey!"
Brad: "Sorry. We're trying to evade the police."
Al: "What did you do this time?"
Gina: "Hey! It wasn't his fault."
Raven: "Everybody shut up! 2 cops just walked in."
Charlie goes over to speak with the officers; after shooting Brad & Gina a stern look.
Charlie: "Good evening officers. What brings you here? Would you like a booth?"
Cop 1: "No thanks Charlie, not tonight. We actually need to ask your daughter some questions."
Cop 2: "Sir, do you know where she has been tonight."
Charlie: "Yes, she's been here waitressing & hanging out with a couple of friends, one of them being my su-chef. Why?"
Cop 1: "We have a couple of witnesses that placed her & *points at Brad* that young man at the scene of the disturbance that happened at your father's club."
Charlie: "There was a disturbance at the E-club?"
Cop 2: "Yes. The witnesses also say that it was started by a fight between the criminal Gravestone, & by the last uncaught members of the Road Lizard gang. We managed to place the Road Lizards in custody, but Gravestone appears to have escaped."
Charlie: "I see. Such a shame. I asure you that my youngest is a good girl that would not be involved in any of that foolishness."
Cop 1: "While we believe you sir, we still need to speak to her in person."
Charlie: "I see. She is right over there. Let me know if you need anything. The house special tonight is kung-pow mushu."
Cop 2: "Thanks, we'll keep that in mind."
The 2 cops walk over to where the 4 are sitting.
Cop 1: "Gina Jing?"
Gina: "Yes? How can I help you officer?"
Cop 2: "We just need you to answer a couple of questions if you don't mind."
Gina: "Not at all. Shoot."
Cop 1: "Where were you tonight between 5:45 & 8:16?"
Gina: "Thats simple. I've been here. I was waitressing earlier, & then I stopped to talk with my friends. This is Al, Rach, & Brad."
Cop 2: *turning to Al* "Do I know you from somewhere?"
Al: "Not unless you've enlisted into the Marine corps recently."
Cop 2: "Huh."
Cop 1: "So Gina, do you know anything about the disturbance at the E-club tonight?"
Gina: "No! Oh my god! What happened?"
Cop 2: "Oh, just your run-of-the-mill fight between a notorious gang of criminals & an even more notorious criminal."
Gina: "Oh my god! I'm sorry, I don't know anything about that."
Cop 2: "You sir, *addressing Brad* were you present at the E-club tonight?"
Brad: "Nope. Like she said, I've been here."
Cop 1: "Hey, aren't you that security guard from the mall that we interviewed after the disturbance there?"
Brad: "That would be me."
Cop 1: "Sorry to bother you folks, but you know, gotta get the whole story before we do our paper work."
Gina: "No problem."
Cop 2: "You all have a good night. & *yells to Charlie* Charlie! We'll be wanting 2 orders of the special after all."
Charlie: "Okie-dokie!"
The 2 officers leave as Sam runs into the resturant. Charlie comes out of the kitchen with a very stern look on his face. He walks over to where Louis, Kent, & Yoji are sitting.
Charlie: "You all want jobs?"
All 3: *in an afraid tone* "Sure."
Charlie: *pointing at Kent* "You know how to cook?"
Kent: "That I do."
Charlie: "You come into kitchen & help me make those orders."
Kent: "Yes sir. *heads to the kitchen*"
Charlie: *pointing at Louis* "You, use those muscles & sweep this floor."
Louis: "You got it homes. *heads to broom closet*"
Charlie: "& you, *finally addressing Yoji* you are going to deliver those orders to the police station."
Yoji: "...but I'm not Chinese."
Charlie: "You no argue with me! They won't know difference! You prefer to get questioned for being at the club?"
Yoji: "No."
Charlie: "Then you deliver the food."
Yoji: "Ok ok! *heads into the kitchen as well*"
Charlie: *turning to Al & Rachel* "You 2 keep eating. & you 3 *pointing at Brad, Gina, & Sam* come into back. We must talk. Now."
Brad: "Yes master."
Gina: "Yes father."
Sam: "Yes Mr. Jing."
The 3 of them follow Charlie into the back room.
Al: "Oh, they're gonna hear it!"

Sam: Damn. I hate cops
Sam goes off to change into Aqua to talk to the police
Sam: Hello, Officer.
Cop 1: You're that girl fighting with The Rook
Sam: Thats correct
Cop 2: We need you to come down town with us to answer some questions
Sam(annoyed): fine
Cop 1: I wouldn't get smart with us if I were you, you we're just seen dealing with a dangerous criminal
Sam decides that maybe she had better stay quiet for the time being. The police take Sam to the police department. They lead her to a room to enterview her.
Cop 1: Can I get you something to drink?
Sam: Water would be great
The cop goes off, and soon returns with a bottle of water
Cop 2: What is your name?
Sam: Aqua
Cop 1: Real name?
Sam: I think I'll keep that to myself for now
Cop 1: Fine
Cop 2: How do you know the Rook
Sam: I just met him today
Cop 1: And you realise he's a wanted criminal, and a murderer?
Sam: He's never hurt anyone but criminals
Cop 2: What about the Professor?
Sam rolls her eyes
Cop 1: Cat got you're toung?
Sam: Can we just get this over with?
Cop 2: Fine. What happened at the E-Club tonight
Sam goes into a detailed description of what happened at the club.
Cop 1: So are you the Roods new sidekick?
Sam: No.
Cop 2: Is that all that happened tonight?
Sam: Yes
Cop 1: Fine, you can go now
Sam hurries out of the police station, and heads to Jing's Fine Chinese.

Gina runs up to where Brad & Sam are now sitting.
Gina: "Um, I hate to interupt your superhero conversation here, but need I remind you that everyone in the club just saw Brad turn into stone?! The police are on their way here! We need to head over to my dad's resturant right now! Louis, Kent, & Yoji already headed over there. Lets go!"
Brad: "You're right, lets book it! Sam, covor for us!."
Brad & Gina go running in the direction of Jing's Fine Chinese & leave Sam to answer the police.

OC: Haha. Well, the only military stuff I know is from MASH. And of course, they were talking about the E-club today...

OC: sorry I thought you guys would have gotten E-club easioly enough, ah well I'll include defentions next time (like I did with REMF)

OC: Amp, you have to stop throwing this military stuff at us... We clearly don't know what your saying.

OH! I just realised that I named the guy whos taking me to the club tonight has the same name as one of lets characters. Didn't realise... I'll change it. From now on he shall be called...Hm...Mark

IC: Mark turns to say something to Sam, then realises shes not there anymore.
Mark: Damn, Note to self- never date bosses sister
Sam has run off to change, and now enters the scene as Aqua. She goes to fight next to Brad.
Brad: Hey Aqua.
Sam: Nice to see you again. Duck
Brad ducks and Aqua sends a stream of water above him, knocking one of the Road Lizards through a window.
Brad: Nice shot- Look out
Brad picks up a chair and throws it, and knocks out 2 of them at once
Sam: Not bad
Within a few minnutes all the Road Lizards have fled. Brad and Sam change back to street clothes and sit at the bar.
Brad: Where's Al?
Sam: Went off with Rachel
Brad: Doesn't surprise me. How long you think he'll be gone?
Sam: No idea. I'm with his marines untill they get back.

OC: sounds like a plan bro
